Omg I couldn’t agree more about the high expectations from college. My parents always kept telling me college was gonna be the best experience of my life. Well it turned out the worst experience of my life :) so definitely do NOT set high expectations from Universities y’all!
Edit: I didn’t mean to be all negative hahah just because mine was bad doesn’t mean yours is gonna be bad too!! I hope everyone will have their own unique and great experience from college💕

Merve Akyol oh it’s not special at all no worries!! There was too much pressure, we had projects and labs and homeworks and the books they wanted us to buy were useless and extremely expensive so even if i studied so hard i kept failing and I’ve always been a successful student it crashed my confidence & triggered my anxiety. Also the people were mostly snobs😅
In my case, I also had very high expectations of the university. Like I expected to graduate in less time than my degree is supposed to be, also having the best grades, being able to have a part-time job, dress nicely, etc. If you are going into STEM, well, people rarely have a very high GPA or graduate on time compared to the humanities or business. I even had a mental breakdown halfway down my degree seeing some former high school classmates already graduating from college in 2.5 or 3 years, meanwhile, I was on the way of finishing my 5-year degree in 6 years. I could never apply for a part-time job because I barely even had time to sleep, go to class, and do my projects. And while I was almost always top 10% of every class, it was so much harder than I imagined.
Girl this made me so emotional🥺 We are in the same age and I have an exam for college applications in like 8 months so I didn’t realize high school is almost over till I watched your video. I hope both of us will have the best college experience. Love u sis♥️

as a college senior, I think going into college saying that you hope you don't have regrets is a good thing, but regrets are almost inevitable! the only way to prevent them is to take in lots of advice and perhaps even model your life after someone else's, but that defeats the whole purpose of learning and growing in college (discovering what you actually want to study, where to intern, who to be friends with, where and if to study abroad, etc.). so I think a small amount of regret is somewhat beneficial in the long run, since it shows you tried something but turns out it wasn't for you

@@zeynademir014 ilk önce ingilizce şarkılardaki kelimeleri kağıda yazıp ezberlemeye başladım daha sonrasında Nil ve Eylül ün videolardaki bilmediğim kelimeleri kağıda yazdım ( aynı kelimeyi 5 kere yazmak gibi değil ama 1 kere yazdıktan sonra gidip gelip madem burda bir bakayım dercesine baksan yeter zaten videolardan olsun şarkılardan olsun o kelimeleri duyunca hıı bu kelimenin anlamı şuydu tam oturdu diyorsun ) derkeen bir sürü kelime öğrenmiş oldumm ve baktım ki bu iş sadece kelimelerle yürümüyor FK language diye bir kanal keşfettim oradan da grameri inan bana çok kolay bir şekilde hallettim o kanala mutlaka bak bence dil kesinlikle heves isteyen bir olay ben de motivasyonumu Nil ve Eylül ün videolarıyla sağlıyordum 👀 destan yazdım ama sjnshdjsjs umarım faydalı olur 🙃

Hi Nil! I know rankings seem so important now, but I would focus on finding a school that you will happy waking up at. My dad went to Wharton and he told me that more Fortune 500 CEOs come from the University of Wisconsin! You get out of college what you put in.

im in business tech / marketing principle, they told us that if we don't know what to major in or do in life, do personal inventory assessments. they ask you questions if you like to do this certain thing and the results will show you what category you should do. you can find them online, they're very helpful :)))

@@zeynademir014 bildiğin gibi okulda gördüğümüz ingilizce dersleri yetmiyor bende zaten heves etmiştim çalışmaya başladım ve zaten dizi izlemeyide çok seven birisiyim full böyle yabancı diziler izledim halen daha da izlemeye devam ediyorum bide duolingo diye bir uygulama var o uygulamanın da baya bi faydası oldu bide şey ne kadar çok kelimenin anlamını öğrenirsen o kadar hızlı öğrenirsin mesela atıyorum bi gün 5-10 tane kelime öğrensen yavaş yavaş devamı gelir :)

Ben kaç defa başkalarının videolarına Türkçe altyazı ekledim. Resmen 10-15 dakikalık videolar için saatlerimi harcıyorum. Öyle kolay bir şey değil. O altyazıları tam denk getirmen lazım söylediği cümleye, eğer yabancı bir videoysa - ki daha zor - mantıklı cümleler kurman lazım yoksa tam olarak ne dediği anlaşılmıyor, özellikle Nil gibi hızlı konuşan yabancı youtuberlar için durum tam bir felakete dönüşüyor. Arada kayan kelimeler, yabancı söz ve ögeler, yabancı deyimler, yabancı mizah konuları... Bunları *TAM OLARAK* anlaman için anadili İngilizce olan bir yerde yaşaman gerekiyor. Siz çok kolay bir iş sanıyorsunuz altyazı ekleme işini.
