Same thing. If the crystals from Paldea can 'leak out' into the surface it's probably because they spread easily, so maybe because the man and Ogerpon had crystals on them when they arrived in Kitakami, the crystals also started appearing everywhere because of it and eventually also formed Crystal Pool in the middle of the region pretty close to where they lived. Maybe they even placed crystals in the pool on purpose?

Wasn't there an entry in the scarlet and violet books that mentioned one of the expedition members being incredibly injured by one of the paradox pokemon there? Arvin's Mabostiff iirc was injured by one of the pokemon in area zero which needed all the herbal mysticas to heal. The injury and recovery of Mabostiff is interesting as well because essentially the pokemon was rapidly aging? Decaying? Due to lack of strength, eyesight, etc. And each sandwich recovered a piece of their body. Now, a wacky speculation moment, maybe the foreigner is the zombie man that's been datamined. The expedition member who was injured in area zero by a similar occurrence as Mabostiff and experienced the same sort of decaying process without the help of herba mysticas. It's very much out there but I do think Mabostiff's condition that had an entire storyline to fix is interesting to look at though, it's been a while so maybe my memory isn't exact.

I don't think anything says the man was ugly, just that he looked different from the villagers. It could have been simply a racial difference, as a lot about Kitakami's seems to reference how isolated Japan was for much of its history. It's also pretty uncertain if the man was killed. There IS the possibility that the man survived the battle, protecting the mask, but with mortal injuries, which is why he left the scene to die somewhere out of sight for Ogerpon... and us as the ones witnessing the story... although you could argue that the villagers would've probably found his body at some point, so the mask maker would've learned of it and told it that way in the story as well. But in the end, the game is still for children, the writers probably just don't want to explicitly tell about how an innocent man was killed by Pokemon in a robbery, especially if they want kids to still capture those Pokemon later.

The "Loyal" Three most likely originally stole those masks because [the masks] were really shiny, and it wasn't until they started wearing the masks, they realize that [the masks] could make them powerful & give them what they desire.

The monkey I think stole Momotaros food, The dog tried to steal the food from the monkey, and the dog also tried to eat the pheasant. Momotaro had to fight ALL of them before they were tame enough to become good. He then took them to save the princess. Since they are inverting the story, it's my personal belief that YOU represent the ogre, and ogrepon might actually be the princess in this story, with Kieran representing momotaro who is trying to take the princess from you. Diancie is among the pokemon that can transfer, such I found interesting. Not only that, but it's ridiculously well-detailed. The pokemon model is very polished. I also found hidden Carbink cavern at the Crystal pools in the middle of the DLC map. Pretty much just Carbink there. Skim the perimeter of the springs area. From the edge, look toward the center for a rock with a cave hole in it that's hidden (because the entrance is found where you probably won't see it unless you're standing at the edge)
Go in the cavern. It drops down, but if you act quickly and go into the hidden cavern inside the drop-down, you'll find it.

Maybe it is the reason he and ogrepon settled down around kitakami, or maybe they are the reason the lake has terra crystals. Their imagination created ogrepon and the 4 bullies. And the man who came with ogrepon and lived with him, didnt come with ogrepon but when he appeared with crystals then the crystals in the crystal lake activated and then the belief of the people came into reality creating ogre pon and the 4 momotaro pokemon. And he stayed with ogrepon only to research the crystals and how the people's created imagination would play out in real life. If life could conquer the imagination or imagination life.

I just had another thought (at 10:09 paused again cause i came up with it) What if... the reason why the crystals in the lake, are there because 'Ogrepon' is there? do we know how long those tera crystals have been there, if they've been there since 'before' Ogrepon arrived, then that's one thing, but if they are there because Ogrepon was there, then that also ties into your theory that Ogrepon came from Area Zero. What if, like Terapagos, what if 'Ogrepon' can create her own tera crystals, perhaps not in the way Terapagos can, but more 'subtly', over time, the crystals emerged and grew naturally
This explains why, unlike when normal Pokemon tera they get a crown, but Ogrepon's mask becomes enormous and 'becomes' the tera crystal itself. She may not have dominion over the tera crystals like Terapagos, but she can still create them and thus manipulate them directly, only she does so with her masks because of how special and important they are to her, they are her identity after all, much like how the crystals are terapagos' identity
this is so much fun speculating, i might just make my own theory vid

    • @ItComeFromWithin
      @ItComeFromWithin Рік тому

What if the idea that the Tera crystal can grant the user whatever they desire is true. With that only being ture because the native crystals in area zero are absorbing Terapagos power from being exposed to Terapagos. This man could be a survivor from area Zero that meet Terapagos and his desire was to have companionship. So Ogrepon was created as a result using Terapagos's power. Similar to the pass and future pokemon created later on. And that's her link to Area Zero and why she can manipulate terastallization. This will also explain why the crystal lake exists in Kitakami as Ogrepon is of Terapagos. So the crystals in that Mountain are being exposed to Terapagos's power as well.

  • @faliciaforward

Honestly I think they were both "ugly" from the locals' point of view because Kitakami seems like a pretty isolated place. The stranger didnt look like the Kitakami villagers, so they considered that "ugly" and obviously Ogerpon was a pokemon they'd never seen before as well. You can even see this ethnocentrism is still a thing with some people in the current day since Carmine didn't like you at first purely because you were "an outsider" as she admits toward the end of the Teal Mask.

Lysandre loosely rebuilds the machine using the power of xerneas or yveltal but their power is only good enough for a single shot that ultimately destroyed the machine by backfiring. Az's story mentions that each setting could be used multiple times during the period of time in which floette was revived. Az's grief and rage at floette's death plus a small sample of these crystals could have powered that machine, but someone would have to have brought them to him from another region.

What if the man is the team member of Heath's expedition team that was mortally wounded by the Titan Great Tusk. After he was wounded, the rest of the team retreated. Ogerpon could have somehow saved the man and formed a bond with him. The man sees that Ogerpon could use Tera Crystals to terastalize itself and is amazed. After he recovers from his wound, he takes a stash of tera crystals and leaves Area Zero with Ogerpon. Eventually they make it to Kitakami where they try to settle down, but his terrible scars from being mortally wounded and being accompanied by Ogerpon scared the locals.
Eventually they meet the mask maker and they use the tera crystal masks for himself and Ogerpon to go to their festival. They decide to settle on Oni mountain because the man figured it would be similar to Area Zero, which is Ogerpons home ,with the tera crystal pool on the mountain. Sadly, tragedy does strike and the man dies, but while he was alive, he was able to figure out that Ogerpon can change its tera forms using it's imagination so he has the 3 masks inspired by different types, and the teal mask, which he wore. That is why the teal mask doesn't change it's typing, its more of a memento of the man who Ogerpon accompanied.

    Here's my theory:
Remember TTar's theory about Terapagos' land? I think Ogerpon and the man came there. They were part of the past/futuristic people trapped in the hidden land. It is the only explanation I can think of that could explain the man's unusual face. His face was weird because he and Ogerpon were not from the present time period. They managed to escape the hidden land and come back to Area Zero because of Heath's intervention in the Great Crater expedition. Heath met the man and Ogerpon. The man explained that he came from the past/future and was trapped inside Terapagos' land. They need help to free their companions trapped inside, so they ask Heath to lend them a hand. Heath's team, along with the man and Ogerpon, came back to the surface of Paldea. Heath introduced the two to the Paldean people through the Scarlet/Violet book, but no one believed him. No one believed in the existence of Paradox Pokemon, Terapagos, the hidden land, and the people trapped inside. Everyone called the Area Zero Research Team a fraud.
To protect Ogerpon from the Paldean people, the man took matters into his own hands. They tried to go back to Area Zero with special Tera crystals that could open a portal to the hidden land. They were on their way when Momotaro appeared, preventing their entry. The Momotaro Pokemon lives in Area Zero and is after the special Tera crystals the man holds. The man and Ogerpon escaped from Momotaro, and they searched the world for another portal to the hidden land outside Area Zero. They received news about a beautiful crystal lake in the east. That's how they ended up in Kitakami. They saw the crystals up on Oni Mountain. They finally had access to the hidden land but there was one problem. They cannot reach the hidden land through the pool for some reason. The mask maker used the special Tera crystals to make Ogerpon's masks. Little did they know that Momotaro followed them through Kitakami alongside the dog, monkey, and pheasant which it gifted with toxic chains. The story goes on with Ogerpon's backstory of the Lousy Three and Momotaro stealing her mask, them being regarded as heroes, and events that happened in the Teal Mask.
In the Indigo Disk, we would use Ogerpon's masks (because it has the special Tera crystals) to enter the hidden land without Terapagos' power. Ogerpon and Momotaro will meet again and will continue their fight. This way, Ogerpon is connected to the Hidden Treasure of Area Zero than we initially thought.
My theory might be a bit of a stretch, but what I am simply pointing out is that Ogerpon and the man might have come from Atlantis from TTar's Terapagos' land theory.
