Saka was running riots with their left back but instead of attacking their weak link, we decided to pass the ball at the back maintaining possession. I hope Arteta and coaching team will take a good look and improve the game in future. Brighton was playing a high line. We need to get the ball behind them on the flanks. However Trossard don’t need to start as he is awful. He is only amazing and magnificent when he comes as a substitute. Pls pls try to adjust your game based on the weaknesses of the opponents. Not during half time but anytime you see an opportunity. 😊
What many are missing regarding the second yellow is that the ball is still when the referee blows, then Veltman kicks the ball with his right foot to gain a few yards, and after that the whole incident happens, meaning that by the laws of the game, Veltman hade already started the play (since he hit it with his foot on a ball that is standing still on the spot where the freekick incident occurred). If the referees wanted to be fussy, he should/could have taken that into consideration, but it seems that a mistake was made
Declan had received a yellow card in 42 min of the game. In the 49 min he got his second yellow card and was sent off. It was NOT a direct red card. I don't think the referee has done anything wrong here as Declan kicked the ball away while Joel tried to take the free-kick. He then pretended to be badly hurt and went down, but in fact he was hardly touched. Those were cut away in this video. A nice cut btw to stir up noises.
Havertz is a very good player. We shouldnt have sold him to Arsenal in the first place. He needed some guidance from a great manager to get his confidence back. Poch could have done the trick like he did for Harry Kane. But he was never given chance. never the less, Havertz is excellent and will surely win something this season.
I like Partey a lot but I blamed him for the conceded goal, he should at least more aggressive and tight up the space with Pedro. He also losing some ball losing while dribbling at backline. Calafiofi is simply amazing. A defender with great technique, aggressive and confident. Timber is physically strong but ball clearance technique needs to be improved. Prone to injuries as well, not sure how much match he can play this season.
Veltman kicked the ball into the back of Rice's legs then tried to kick the ball again while it was moving. So regardless. The ref would have had to stop the game and make him retake it for the moving ball. An utter sham of a 2nd yellow card.
Strange strange decision to give a red card. Premiership referring level is a joke, for many years now. Got to change things up before similar decision ruins everything. Absolute disgrace.
I am very surprised that people are discussing the yellow card for rice because it’s one of the clearest I have ever seen. The Brighton Player wants to play it quick and Rice is obstructing him unfairly to give his defence time to get into position. At least in Germany that’s a yellow card in 10/10 cases. Just a stupid action by rice
Ref also totally ignored Joao Pedro delaying a restart WAY MORE than Rice. He literally booted the ball halfway down the field after the whistle and after it obviously crossed the line. Then Rice gets booked for delaying a restart with the smallest of touches. If refs actually gave out yellows for delay, in reality there would be 15 yellows per game.
I didn't imagine someone eho was hit by other person would get punishment... Worst refree and worst decision I've ever seen. Arsenal should have got two points more
If we want to strictly follow the rules then Kavanagh must first judge if the ball is stationary for a free kick to occur. Secondly the whole idea of a fast free kick should be revised, I know they have come to Arsenal's favour in the past but I think refs should blow the whistle to indicate the free kick can now be taken otherwise it is invalid.
Stop acting like people are going to let you win just because you worked hard honestly. They are going to fight for it for themselves. You have to make sure you fight harder than them that ref , the biased EPL, they don't want you to win but you must take it. YOU MUST.
Havertz has been great but he had a big chance to get his second goal and scuffed it. Saka played ok and set up a goal but he needs more confidence to hit the ball on the volley and stop going to the ground so easily.

If the referees wanted to be fussy, he should/could have taken that into consideration, but it seems that a mistake was made
great job refff thxxx !!!
This is what football is all about!
Unbelievable match! Go team!
Strange strange decision to give a red card. Premiership referring level is a joke, for many years now. Got to change things up before similar decision ruins everything. Absolute disgrace.
He gave a yellow, not a red.
@@submanstan7488 bottomline is SUBSTANDARD REFERRING!
I don't know about the rest of the match or other matches, but the yellow for Rice was correct.
That is why city sign Haaland....they have a good finisher...
1:36 Partey jogging lol
I am very surprised that people are discussing the yellow card for rice because it’s one of the clearest I have ever seen. The Brighton Player wants to play it quick and Rice is obstructing him unfairly to give his defence time to get into position. At least in Germany that’s a yellow card in 10/10 cases. Just a stupid action by rice
BREAKING : choking and kicking other player are legal now in this sport
Nice Game 😊
At the start of the match there was a handball from a Brighton player, but the referee ignored it
Ref also totally ignored Joao Pedro delaying a restart WAY MORE than Rice.
Arsenal should have got two points more
This game is on fire!
Finishing chances is a big problem of this team
