As part of my Advanced Open Water certification, we came to the Blue Hole to dive. We started at a place known locally as the "Bells of the Blue Hole" and proceeded into the Blue Hole afterwards.
Highly reccomended as there are only a few blue holes in the world. My guide was Alia Negm from Sinai Divers located centrally in Dahab.
I love how people thumbnail these videos with a picture of a completely different hole in belize. Just use a picture of the dahab hole, it really makes research alot easier for people researching the dahab hole.

Dived this about 20 years ago, when there was only one hotel at Dahab. My most favourite dive ever, but reef was looking a bit depleted in this video.
They are saying that.. if you didnt train well for 2 weeks or more to go there...the place drags you down... you lose your control of your body.... the O2 becomes toxic and you stuck in a no-out point... is that true ?
What a lovely place to dive, it is a must for me each time I visit Dahab.
Going in head first might seems intimidating, but actually it is easier, as you see where are you going and you keep those clumsy fins behind you.
I usually have one hand on my nose for equalization, and the other on the inflator to control the descend and not fall like a rock.
Wow man. I don’t have that kind of skill yet. Since I have a deviated septum and several times broke my nose, it’s very difficult for me to clear initially. Actually I always have to force it but thankfully I can still dive deep when needed.

Haha, I heard you ring the bells at the Bells. My divemaster said it was named because divers hit their tanks on the rocks during the descent that sounds like bells ringing.
Same thing I was told and let’s just say I rung the bells the entire way down!

This is in dahab i was there myself i remember the coral reef (the wall of coral) wich hes diving next to i snorkled and saw everything like him but from the top not going as deep in the water as him

You're knowledgeable but so should be any diver, they shouldn't risk their life after 30-40 meters or even don't dive alone so they can help each other in such situations or give some confidence that they're not alone!

@Vrishti Hegde Hi Vrishti. I didn’t as it’s beyond my technical skills for diving. I’m only advanced open water license which is 30 meters depth. There are some videos on UA-cam of the bottom though if you are interested.
