When you test the "effect" of a brake, do you notice a difference in recoil force from a radial brake to a slot ported brake? I have used both on my 300WM and much prefer the ported style for reduction. What are your thoughts?
There are a few factors. The total area of the ports, whether radial or slotted, has an effect. The amount of restriction makes a difference. If slotted, the orientation of the slots makes a difference. I generally orient them a little toward the top. The big advantage of the slotted brake is that you can shoot prone without kicking up a bunch of debris.
That looks really nice. Good work sir
Thank you kindly
You answered my question from the last video. Thanks!
Happy to help!
