From the Des Moines Register archives, Actor James Earl Jones, one of the stars of "Field of Dreams" talks about what it was like to make the movie, spending time in Iowa during filming and its lasting legacy in this 2014 interview.
Jones, the EGOT winner who lent his distinctive voice to such iconic film characters as Darth Vader in "Star Wars," Mufasa of “The Lion King,” died at 93 on Sept. 9, 2024.

Everyone remembers him as Darth Vader or Mufasa… Or Eddie Murphy’s dad in “Coming To America”….

Play back what he said....maybe he didn't say "may the 4th be with you". I hope a lot of lies don't come out now about this man. I think he was intelligent, and humbled.
