Proud to say I'm still listening to these geniuses in 2023. These guys are so so good. Have to my one of my all time favourite artists, without a doubt
Ludovic Capillon The reason why Adan wrote that was because in this genre, not many people use live vocals nor live instruments, basicly there standing with a turntable and a usb stick with BOTH hands in the air :P
Takes it to a whole other level hey! I think/hope we'll be seeing more bands/producers doing stuff like this live - incorporating both kinds of technology to create stuff completely different to what we've been able to do until now. And we can do it cause all this crazy gear is now relatively within reach for your average bedroom producer :D
OMFG THIS IS SUCH A GREAT PERFORMANCE! You're damn right incorporating live instruments and vocals makes it better. They play drums, bass and sing while play and mix THIS INCREDIBLE ELECTRONIC MUSIC! Holyfuckitsawesome! PEACE! :D I'm so hyped right now! Glad I watched a live video finally! Feel so much more respect and likeness(?) for them then before. No need to reply :D:D
every electronic music act I have ever seen always does this live, otherwise you might aswell be listening to a cd and it wouldn't be live. Disclosure, who I think are very good, didn't invent this.
Stephen Batty I believe original comment was comparing this to a usual DJ set, that most electronic artists do, not everyone have any live elements in their shows. This is a lot better and a lot more interesting than lets say david quetta pretending to mix and waving his hands around
I've been to disclosure 2wice before and going again next week in Dublin... Cannot wait! :O It's up there with Deadmau5's concert which is saying something!
Zach LeFevre I just watched their whole live concert. I think I'll pass on Chem Bros. It was more annoying to me than entertaining. Even thought they kinda do the same thing, the music they make is different.
Narakou Seriously though man you should go to more shows. Their music is great but as live show this isn't all that. 90% of it is being played off a midi track. Go see little dragon :)
La Bel Let's face the truth :D You have 28 "likes" because you have sexy photo, and in addition you are obsessed with disclosure. So you are almost best candidate for wife.
It's impressive how Britain has so mutch young talents on music, like: Duke Dumont, Clean Bandit, Gorgon City, Sam Smith, Calvin Harris, Rudimental Jessie Ware, Ed Sheeran and many outhers! They are 50% of Hot 100.
Never heard of these guys until i heard they are doing a colab with my favourite female artist LORDE at the brit awards-these guys are amazing!!…now i am really excited...
5 years since settle came out. Honestly, this is my all time favorite album ever made. Thank you disclosure for this ive made so many memorable memories.
2:11 F For You 6:49 When A Fire Starts To Burn 11:52 Running (Disclosure Remix) by Jessie Ware 18:10 Help Me Lose My Mind (Sohn Remix) by Disclosure & London Grammar 23:40 Latch (ft. Sam Smith)
Alex Niculescu lol what is this a hipster dick measuring contest? Yea some of their tracks are Uk Garage, Some of their songs are deep house, this combined with the 'deep aesthetic' that many R&B artists have been pursuing will make for a combination of sounds that will eventually break into the mainstream and redefine the 'EDM' mold. With a big label like Universal behind them, this makes it even all more feasible. The tracks with the deep bass lines, with lush lyrics - will have commercial mass appeal, this together with a solid fanbase of deep house fans will aid in this transition. My original statement still stands that they will make deep house break into the mainstream, although not all their songs are deep house, the 'deep house' sound is the one that will most likely break out into commercial radio.
They've really gotten such a tight, well composed live set worked out. I have huge respect for anyone who does things the hard way like this instead of just sitting on a set of CDJ's, which they easily could do. For such minimalistic sounding music, there's quite a lot that goes into the live performance. These guys are awesome.
this is the most LIVE edm I've ever seen. their doing more than deadmau5, justice, porter robinson, madeon, and daft punk combined. they've got Synths, drums, guitars, midi, mics, and just about everything else. if this isn't the most LIVE thing the edm community has ever witnessed then I don't know what is.
+Kyubey If you don't know 'Lido' i suggest you youtube a few of his live performances, he only started Live show's this year and its amazing, He just slays the keys and his sets are quality. Can't really explain it you just have to witness :)
2:10 F for You 6:48 When A Fire Starts to Burn 11:52 Confess to Me (just the beat & the hook) 12:08 Running (Remix) 18:10 Help Me Lose My Mind (feat. London Grammar) 23:10 Latch (feat. Sam Smith) :)
You are so lucky to have gone to this! I remember being 15 or 16 and watching this on my iPhone back in the day. Can’t believe it’s almost been 10 years. Times sure have changed since then 😢
First of all, I respect DJing as an art form and find turntablism to be real music that requires a great deal of control, timing, and innate rhythm. But it's so cool to see that they include other instruments into their live tracks Second of all, someone has to keep UK Garage alive. And these guys are great at doing that. They've got that retro groove down tight, but yet sound fresh.
The fact that most people don't get is that people as disclosure are not just djs, they do their own stuff composing tracks, they are musicians as any other
Santiagos Route Was listening to this while working, never looked at the video until second time. Switched windows and, "Hmm cute girl jammin' at the concert, niiice" LOL. Kick ass concert! Greetings from Mexico =)
A really short set but quite enjoyable! Thank you pitchfork for sharing for those who couldn't come to the show. Will be subscribe and following for a long time with that kind of quality content!
The most underrated group in the music industry. i know they have produced for big artists in the past but their own sound is something out of this world. only other group i would put up there is odesza
CR7KING because funk is a genre made by African Americans post slavery, and the funk genre has almost dispersed in afroamerican cultures, white people makes more funk than black people worldwide.
OP, what an ignorant comment to make and to see some people agree just adds to the ignorance. Why should it matter that they're white and from the UK? Especially considering Disclosure has worked with people of color, including from the States. Disclosure could be any race, from any place and it wouldn't nor shouldn't matter. They make good music period.
I freaking love Disclosure!!!!!! I'm torn on if I would like to see them get big or not... yes, because I would be able to see/hear them more often. no, because I would hate to see it change their sound or get over played. Deep house PRO!!!!!!!! Keep it up...
IDK where the Exit Festival is...but im sure im too far away to make it there anyways. Wish I could've made it to Ultra down in Miami...would've loved to seen Adventure Club.
Bobby Lawson Exit (Best Major European Festival) is in Serbia, Novi Sad. Both Disclosure and Adventure Club are playing this year. And many more interesting bands and DJ's :)
Aleksandar Markovic fuck im stranded in the middle of the United States right now, I doubt i'll be able to get all the way to Serbia! But thanks my friend!
Once during late September i canoed down the Yukon between Eagle and Circle…. out comes the iPod and Dc ….loose my mind….. it was so beautiful i started to dance while floating down the river………. i will never forget this!! thanx for the upload1
Proud to say I'm still listening to these geniuses in 2023. These guys are so so good. Have to my one of my all time favourite artists, without a doubt

Adan Alcala :D :D irony is strong with this one
Adan Alcala Yes it's the first purpose of a live concert...
Ludovic Capillon a lot of people don't anymore these days...
Ludovic Capillon The reason why Adan wrote that was because in this genre, not many people use live vocals nor live instruments, basicly there standing with a turntable and a usb stick with BOTH hands in the air :P

I like how they incorporate live elements into their sets like the vocals and some of the percussion. Electronic producers don't usually do that.
DjTak3On3 I've seen them live. He is playing the bass. He has it hooked up to a lot of processors and modulators.
every electronic music act I have ever seen always does this live, otherwise you might aswell be listening to a cd and it wouldn't be live.
The greatest concert I ever been to in my life.
I've been to disclosure 2wice before and going again next week in Dublin... Cannot wait! :O It's up there with Deadmau5's concert which is saying something!
Haven't seen The Chemical Brothers live I take it? Holy smokes. That show will never be topped.
Non Ofyourbusiness Yeahhhhh.. I enjoyed it tho. I do definitely agree I do need to do more shows though. What would you recommend?

These guys are gonna make deep house blow the fuck up to commercial Top 40 levels any time now the lid on this shit is gonna blow. MARK MY WORDS!!!
I'm with you - they are amazing.
Its starting to seep into Trance now, after this festival season Deep House could be the next sound.
It's not deep house, it's more UK garage than deep house. Not everything that is "not EDM" is deep house
Alex Niculescu lol what is this a hipster dick measuring contest? Yea some of their tracks are Uk Garage, Some of their songs are deep house, this combined with the 'deep aesthetic' that many R&B artists have been pursuing will make for a combination of sounds that will eventually break into the mainstream and redefine the 'EDM' mold. their music is no where near deep house mate .. they've said it themselves :) it's more like a mix between uk garage/pop
Esto es impresionante que calidad de música, a quien no le a podido gustar esto?
Es lo mejor que e visto en muchos años.
They've really gotten such a tight, well composed live set worked out. I have huge respect for anyone who does things the hard way like this instead of just sitting on a set of CDJ's, which they easily could do.
For such minimalistic sounding music, there's quite a lot that goes into the live performance. These guys are awesome.

if this isn't the most LIVE thing the edm community has ever witnessed then I don't know what is.

THIS IS NOT THE FULL SET, I was there during the festival, and the set was near 1h30m long. Amazing set actually !
I wish we could see this
You are so lucky to have gone to this! I remember being 15 or 16 and watching this on my iPhone back in the day. Can’t believe it’s almost been 10 years. Times sure have changed since then 😢
This should be one of the greatest show ever
First of all, I respect DJing as an art form and find turntablism to be real music that requires a great deal of control, timing, and innate rhythm. But it's so cool to see that they include other instruments into their live tracks
Second of all, someone has to keep UK Garage alive. And these guys are great at doing that. They've got that retro groove down tight, but yet sound fresh.
they have no turntables, this is all live generated electronic music (and some saved samples)
Even better
The fact that most people don't get is that people as disclosure are not just djs, they do their own stuff composing tracks, they are musicians as any other
Anon Ymouse they also do dj sets! And its still great! Of course the live set its always better and more exciting

SUCH A GREAT PERFORMANCE! AMAZING MUSICIANS!
Fucking Awesome! I've just changed my mind and will watch the Disclosure concert instead of Muse at Lollapalooza Brazil.
Just saw them here in miami. Im still trying to pick up the pieces from having my mind blown.
The most underrated group in the music industry. i know they have produced for big artists in the past but their own sound is something out of this world. only other group i would put up there is odesza
I watched a few of their sets, some more recent ones, but man they really killed this set. this is the best one on youtube. the energy is palpable.
can't stop nod my head at the office
5:15 that moment Howard hit that cowbell!! so fucking sick!!
I cant stop listening to F for you!
I love how all these kids from England have more funk than black producers and rappers, rnb singers from a America !! keep it up !!
Why does race always have to be a factor. Why can't they be good artist. Not good for a pair of white boys.
CR7KING because funk is a genre made by African Americans post slavery, and the funk genre has almost dispersed in afroamerican cultures, white people makes more funk than black people worldwide.
***** wow you clearly don't delve deep enough into American music.
That is so fuckin true. I'm black and I like rap but the feeling of this music and french house is a feeling I don't get from rap
Incredible sound, fantastic camerawork and editing, great music, gorgeous visuals. Thank you so much Pitchfork.
I freaking love Disclosure!!!!!! I'm torn on if I would like to see them get big or not... yes, because I would be able to see/hear them more often. no, because I would hate to see it change their sound or get over played. Deep house PRO!!!!!!!! Keep it up...
guess what? It's way too late for the not getting too big thing.
Estou a apaixonada pela dupla, Brasil | Lollapalooza-2014, estamos te esperando... Yeah!
