There's a Bluetooth model which is a little pricier. It also comes with hall effect joysticks. I bought that one. It connects with 2.4ghz, Bluetooth, and wired. And also has a significantly better battery life.

The USB port in the hub does work. You can leave it in the dock and plug the dock in.
