I can never blame the young man for who he actually is!!! What he’s talking about is something I’m very passionate about, and I’m conflicted when it comes to PonFrere because most of those guys were evil killers and sellouts!!! That’s just a fact unfortunately! Many like saying people who were fighting for our liberation never really experienced hand-to-hand battle/confrontation with the enemy in those days, when in truth it was a matter of life and death for many, during the years of exile as a freedom fighter for real! Many of course make unfounded claims about their roles in the war, but there was a real war going on all the time. Fighting alongside Namibians and MPLA of Angola was helpful because it was strategic to fight for the liberation of Namibia as that would bring our own war to the Boers doorstep! Many guys were ready and willing to face the apartheid killing machinery, come what may but groups such as the PonFrere guys and Jonas Savimbi’s UNITA made the task a little harder by selling our people out to the Boers!!!So who are these people:
During the liberation war in Namibia, the apartheid regime recruited black people from Angola who were willing to kill their own and oppose the liberation of Namibia and by extension, democracy and end of apartheid in South Africa. Though they did not fight in South Africa, they were still fighting and killing South African freedom fighters who were fighting alongside Namibian freedom fighters under the capable leadership of Dr Sam Shafishuna Nujoma! The strategy was simple, if we eliminate apartheid in Namibia we would isolate the apartheid regime because now apartheid South Africa would be surrounded by free African and independent countries which would make it difficult for them to sustain apartheid! So his dad’s work was to eliminate freedom fighters and delay or hamper efforts to end apartheid!!! I’m not blaming him, he’s only but a child and he didn’t choose to be a son of someone who was actually helping keep us under apartheid, just for money…one of the many Judases who sold their own people out for a small fee! They are Angolans by birth actually, and that is why the dad speaks Portuguese; they were recruited in Angola by the Boers. Some of them had special assignments such as to infiltrate the likes of Umkhonto We Sizwe, APLA or SWAPO’s People’s Liberation Army of Namibia (PLAN) and give away all plans to the Boers from inside!!! They were brought to SA when Namibia got their independence, with promises that they would be integrated into the SADF (before it became SANDF), because they were not part of the army in the true sense, they were just being used like tools to kill the oppressed fellow black people.

I could be wrong but I think the reason why a lot of you are so hateful/bitter in your comments is because he mentioned that his parents are not South African, and the self-hate just kicked in. It's not his fault the story was arranged like that. It's the editor's fault, he should've guided him like he does with others when they go off the rails.
I mean, sure, we're the product of the environment we're in in most cases...thats logical. How is that blame-shifting? Eh😮, ay sone of you need to learn to love yourselves and then extend that love to people who look like you.

I dont get whats so different about this video. Agenda network deals with criminals telling their stories. All crimes that are hurtful to the victims. This guy is the same as well. Why so much hate all of a sudden specifically for him? Theres hardcore hitmen that could still come here and wed watch their stories. This is educational for us to be aware as well.

The more I watch these horrible, brutal criminals, like this guy. I find its impossible to trust human being I dont know.
Can you imagine, thinking you doing the right thing,by being nice to a human being. Giving Christmas presents. And he decided he decided to betray this nice resident in the most horrible way.
The way he narrate the story, he seem to be very proud of himself.
All the Army Father nonsensical story was a waste of time. He should have got to the point of his criminality. Thats has nothing to do with anything, his horrible heart.
