Good episode! A couple thoughts. Coach Ericson's offense was very effective, except when the defense overloaded the LOS, especially post RB moving to the SL. Torretta, through away, many a football before being crushed. Definitely agree on the rule changes for "excessive celebration." No doubt this was a direct result of the U's players' behavior on the field . Although I will push back a little on the uniform issue. I recall seeing a good many teams with players wearing short jersey's and the taping of the shoe/ankle (can't remember what you called it), mostly skilled positions and LB's. Uniforms and uniformity are always a difficult balance. And I agree with your stance on self-expression, but every office job I had included a dress code in the Employee Handbook ( I never liked dress codes). Thankfully, the players are getting paid now. Hopefully, the money makes tolerating some of this nonsense more tolerable.
Thomas would take his helmet off and run around the field after a touchdown. Loved it.
Me too
God I miss the 90s with the spat, cutoff jerseys, dark visors, towels hanging, cowboy collars, big shoulder pads and long facemasks.
And they still hate us.. Coach you rock 👍🏼 GO CANES 🙌🏼
Great Great show!
I appreciate that. Thanks for the support
Texas talked all week and the Csnes said nothing... they held back and unloaded in the Cotton Bowl
The U popularized the four fingers fourth quarter, the smoke, the turn over chain and more
Lamar Thomas with the crop top
