- Before you jump into this tutorial just want to mention that this trick requires a lot of ram from your computer. It's not the best approach to do long shadows but it is an approach and just wanted to share with you an unusual approach today!

You can often see such shadows on posters or covers, turns out it is quite easy to make. Thanks for tutorial, Rob!
Yes it's really old-school style. You better do it with blend tool because it won't overwhelm your computer. Your welcome!

Hello Rob. One tip if i may to make the text editable: you don't have to make a copy, in the appearance panel you make another fill and add the transform effect :) Peace and respect from Bucharest

I suppose once you expand appearance it won’t lag as much
If you expand it, it might crash and freeze forever

adobe never try to make people do this effect easier
There's another way too, but it's manual work.
