Self-released, 1998
Arthemesia, from Finland, was formed under the name Celestial Agony in 1995 before changing their name. Metallum seems to give the date as 1994, but the text on this tape indicates otherwise, so who knows. This is their first demo released in 1998 and you can read a bit about it in the scan of the j-card that is in the video, or in the text reproduced below.
The band has had members from many Finnish acts of note through out its existence and released 4 demos, 1 EP, 1 split and 2 albums before disbanding in 2010. Most recently, their 2001 album 'Devs - Iratvs' was recently pressed on vinyl by ASRAR. I would highly recommend this album, which I think contains the bands best material, while this demo has my second favorite. If anyone has any of these lousy rehearsal tapes they speak of in the text, please let me know as I'd love to give them a listen.

It was back in spring of 1995 when ArthemesiA was born under the name Celestial Agony. In that original line up were L.R.B. and Routa, Kiisla, Alex and a drummer whom we kicked out. Then our 2nd guitarist Alex changed his style and he didn't fit to our band any more, now after the demo we have found a new guitarist. The reason to why our demo came out so late is that we got kicked out from our reh. place and we were unable to find a new one, untill the summer of 1997. Only material from this period is a few lousy reh. tapes. L.R.B., Routa and Kiisla started to rehease new material which Routa had made in this "quiet" period. In fall of 1997 we founded Misery to fulfill our sound with her synths, at the same time Kiisla left the band. It was played and mixed in 18 hours. Soon after this recording session Misery left the band to make her own project.
The drums on the demo were played by Oliver Fokin.
