Lovely Nao Tokutake pot under your forest. I have a similar glazed rectangle from Nao I picked up at nationals. I just started an Oridono Nishiki forest in mine this spring. Love your channel! It is one of my inspirations for creating my Japanese maple channel! 🙏🏽 🪴 🍁

You really got a nice garden ! I wish I could have it too :(, Im new in bonsai and I bought recently 3 Maples. Do you know if Maple Deshojo leaf out long time after Japanese Maple? because all of my JM already leaf out
Usually means materials you can buy at your local nursery with potting mix/bark in a bit plastic container. You can find some good materials that you can turn into great bonsai :)

I also started with just a few trees some time ago and boom here i am lol they leaf out slower than other maples in general.
