That bench is like the most heartwarming thing in the anime for me

It instantly connected in my head that Uji being famous for green tea is probably why Midori has that flavor of ice cream in the anime.

that looks like such a peaceful and relaxing town! I love the wood/iron textures of the bridge, so unique. Also yes, Hibike is a criminally difficult kanji wtf T_T

Bruh I hope I NEVER see this kanji on a test LOL

Man so many good shots! Your shooting and editing game is on point! The heron shot, the beautiful foliage, that great shot of you sitting on the mountain! I love Sound Euphonium but I just wanna say I appreciate how much work you put into this video! Loved the music selection and the shots with integrated anime scenes. And I always love the food you share with us😊 thanks so much for taking us on this trip with you and all the amazing shots you took. The bench shots were fabulous as well as the ones of you chilling on it.
Loved the movie with band camp and her becoming a great senpai. I’m still totally rooting for trombone guy😄
I need to read the manga! Have always wondered what music stories are like when you take that aspect to print without the audio to assist. Like Kids on the Slope for example. I come to music anime for the music but maybe I’d dig the manga as well.

I really love Hibike Euophonium! I'm going to Japan for the first time this december and Uji is in my itinerary, thanks to your video I know what can I expect from there and even make it easier to find the right spots that I am looking for :)

Great video, now do it again while carrying the instrument in question! I kid, really enjoyed the relative peace of just walking from spot to spot. And yes, all the matcha (and another 10 pounds) would be mine!!!

@@GingerGaiden It’s really cool to see live anime locations. Japan is surreal sometimes. I was stationed in Iwakuni, Japan from 2009-2011. I still miss it.

I've seen pictures comparing the anime to the IRL spots, but seeing them "live" in a video is even more amazing than I could imagine! Thank you for filming all of this! Do you mind if I ask what was the name of the restuarant you had the matcha soba in (or just where it was if you forgot the name lol)?

Hello! Thank you for watching! I don't exactly remember the name of the restaurant, but if you go straight down the famous Matcha street in Uji starting from the torii gate it will be one of the first places on the left and they will have wax displays on their food outside!

I loved the part where you panned the camera to follow the video clip of her turning the corner and running across the bridge! Very nice cinematography there! That matcha cafe looked SO AMAZING too! This is a really scenic and beautiful town.
