Staten Island Railway Action at Clifton

- After the busy morning rush hour, the SIR runs local trains every 30 minutes to match with the Staten Island Ferry schedule at St George. In the rest of the morning and the afternoon, some trains run NIS to/from the Clifton Yard, while some trains are moved. R211S 105-109 can be seen as it is first activated, with other miscellanious moves. This is also the first time I've ever railfanned the SIR :)

ayyy my stop! i saw 408 a couple days back out of service in tottenville. I typically railfan SIR cause im along the line lol. Good to do something new every once in a while!
That sounds fun… even with the half hour gaps 😅 but better to get action of these R44’s before they become history of the past
@@logical.01 yep. It’s even worse on Sundays, cause I’m pretty sure they do scheduled maintenance on Sundays, so all trains operate on 1 track for like 4 stops
5:27 an R211S A train ?
Yup, the car equipment workers signed the train as an A to Inwood, this was the first time the train was powered on!
