As much as I love the Kara slander from Bertie, I think there should have been a scene where Tuca confronted Kara. Tuca was affected the most by Kara's actions and would mean so much more if this kind of talk came from her. If Kara was serious about getting better near the end of the season, I would have liked to see the two women have a talk. More like to hear Tuca tell Kara how hurt she felt. This was by far the most painful toxic relationship I had seen in a show that did not involve violence. To watch Tuca twist and devalue herself into something she's not because it'll make things 'easier' for Kara, even though it was not enough for Kara. And when Tuca asked for one thing she was dumped with no warning or closure. Jump to the next season, Tuca sees Kara again, with a new girlfriend! And to make the scene hurt more Kara was willing to change and better herself for this girl. It must be a devastating blow to know that your ex was not willing to change or be better for you...but for someone else. You weren't important or meant enough for the change.

@@bluebird1914 Her interest in Tuca was so shallow, she wanted someone to casually date and sleep with, but also who was desperate enough to tolerate her shit without calling her out. When she realized she couldn't tug Tuca around anymore she just abandoned the relationship entirely.
Kara never wanted someone "more put together", she wanted someone she could easily manipulate. When Tuca tried to leave her, Kara made her stay and started cultivating this dependance on her, so that Tuca couldn't decide anything on her own or even know what her feelings were. And when Kara got bored, she discarted Tuca, just like that
Why did Kara even start dating Tuca to begin with if she was gonna change her into someone she isn’t?

As much as I love the Kara slander from Bertie, I think there should have been a scene where Tuca confronted Kara. Tuca was affected the most by Kara's actions and would mean so much more if this kind of talk came from her. If Kara was serious about getting better near the end of the season, I would have liked to see the two women have a talk. More like to hear Tuca tell Kara how hurt she felt.
This was by far the most painful toxic relationship I had seen in a show that did not involve violence. To watch Tuca twist and devalue herself into something she's not because it'll make things 'easier' for Kara, even though it was not enough for Kara. And when Tuca asked for one thing she was dumped with no warning or closure.
Jump to the next season, Tuca sees Kara again, with a new girlfriend! And to make the scene hurt more Kara was willing to change and better herself for this girl.
It must be a devastating blow to know that your ex was not willing to change or be better for you...but for someone else. You weren't important or meant enough for the change.

Speaking as someone who looked it up on Google compared to a fictional bird that is a nurse, the cloaca is a common cavity at the end of the digestive tract for the release of both excretory and genital products in vertebrates (except most mammals) and certain invertebrates. Kara is so full of it. She ghosted Tuca when she decided "hey we gotta do what i want to" because her controlling ass just wanted to boss her around.
If someone tries to justify ghosting as self-care, that makes them disgusting. If you have had a relationship or a friendship with someone and you feel like you cannot deal with being around them anymore, the least you can do is give an explanation for leaving so they can move on, too. That was abandonment, not 'self-care'.
I wonder if this conversation was what inevitably lead to Kara trying to be better for her new gf? If, as she contemplating ghosting yet another person, she thought back to what Bertie said about how it impacted Tuca, and recognized the damage her actions can have?
