The pink throws off the Christmassy feeling but i like your review. Thx. 😊

It's true. When I was shopping for the Christmas puzzles I was trying to get some different images. Didn't want to get all green and red puzzles. So it's good and bad at the same time. It was a fun one!

That pink sky would have been why I would pass on the puzzle, but I always appreciate your evaluations of new brands. If I run across one of this brand, I will know it's a safe buy! I am doing a Christmas puzzle that is a nightime scene and, unfortunately, a bad combination of glossy finish and lots of shades of dark blue. It may take me 44 hours! Thanks for quality entertainment!

Thanks for the comment, I feel you, after doing many puzzles and different brands, i'm starting to know why I like and what I don't like. Glossy+dark is definitely hard for me so I know what you're saying!!

@JigsawJohnie this is a thrift store puzzle I was doing and already discovered 2 missing border. That is a good indication it will be missing more from my experience. Decided to still go ahead with it, then next issue was a lot of false fits. Well decided before I went any further with a difficult puzzle better do what I call a puzzle inventory and count all pieces. Turns out missing a total of 12 pieces. That is way over my limit so this one is going into the garbage can. Rare for me, but this one has 4 strikes against it: lots of dark pieces, shiny finish, false fits, 12 missing pieces.😮 Gonna go treat myself and buy a new puzzle tomorrow to do without any stress factors!😊

I’ve done two puzzles of this brand and they each had a different finish on the image. One had a smooth waxy feel and the other had a slightly textured plastic feel. Not sure what’s happening with that, maybe they changed their manufacturing. I love their images and colours.

Yes I bet they were made in different places, other companies do that too!

Your dog is absolutely adorable! That's a nice puzzle. Thanks for covering a new brand.
What do you think of Piece Relax or other plastic puzzles?
I just can't get support more plastic being produced, and especially not for puzzles (so unnecessary), but that's a personal choice.
    Thanks, Johnie!

Thanks for the comment. I never tried the plastic puzzles, never even heard about the brand... I don't see the point, cardboard is the way! I like it like that :)

@@JigsawJohnie Pintoo is another brand that makes plastic puzzles, and I see them reviewed on other channels, but no thanks. Donna Louise from "For the love of puzzles" is an ambassador for Piece Relax, and she's going to China to compete in a gigantic competition. I'm not sure, but I think all the puzzles there will be plastic too. I'm with you: cardboard is the way!

Nice puzzle Johnie! I sort the same way you do and always build my edge first, unless it is a random cut and I cannot differentiate some of the edge pieces, its easier to me to to know where things go by doing that. Thank you for sharing!

Hi Johnie. I've really enjoyed your videos! Have you come across any of the Dixit Puzzles? They look lovely, and I like the Dixit board game. I would love to see your take/review, they are a bit pricey, so I hope the quality is good.
