This is modern day archaeology and I am SO here for it
Booooooo!!!!
Michael Jackson also appealed on the Dreamcasts “Ready To Rumble” (it may have even been the second one) and in it he voices himself and actually uses his REAL voice not the high one he usually speaks with.
It's so bizarre to hear his voice that deep. It's like that video going around where rapper DDG reveals his real voice and it's much deeper than the voice he normally puts on.
He motion captured it too
Ready to Rumble: Round 2 also featured Shaquille O’Neal (who only did voice work, not motion capture like Jackson), and “Mr. President” and the “First Lady”, parodies of Bill and Hillary Clinton.
its hard to say what his real voice was, the man had such a huge vocal range and could effortlessly change his speaking pitch.
0:50 Why do people keep misusing the term "Cult Classic", Moonwalker was a smash success when it was released.
Facts!
One can only imagine what else Michael would have done in the gaming world, if he was still around today.
He'd have created his own indie studio... Imagine
@@ajxx9987 You're thinking too small. He could've bought any of the big three console manufacturers and any number of other game studios on the planet without blinking.
He’d probably have his own Soulja Boy-esque game console with a bunch of ROMs loaded on it.
And it would have the worst controller you’ve ever felt.
Not much tbh. He also did the soundtrack to a Sonic game but Sega kept it a secret due to his allegations. His Moon Walker game looked pretty good though.
Absolutely nothing. Honestly man if he wanted to get more into game development he would’ve at any point. He would’ve just kind of existed
I had to pause and laugh for like 5 solid minutes over the advanced calculations for the date 😂
I really hope all of Micheal Jackson’s lost songs will some day be found!

It’s been almost 15 years since he died and we’re still finding all this lost media that many MJ fans may not even know they ever existed.

It will never not be the coolest damn thing ever that Michael isn't just a cameo in Space Channel 5, but a canon character, who's actually the one in charge of the Space Channel 5 station in Part 2
Now this is a wild find, all of these MJ and Sega's lost collab stories are so interesting!
I hope the other AS-1 games get found soon, especially Megalopolis: Tokyo City Battle, which is the one that I want to see get found in its entirety the most.
Michael certainly took inspiration from this for the intro of his HIStory World Tour in 1996. I wonder who the CGI producers were.
It’s always a great day when All Things Lost posts!
it’s segaworld paris version! label has “french ver” written in japanese
Can confirm!! It does say that!! Its definitely for the Segaworld Paris version!!
3:50 there it is! The infamous mountain Sonic statue! If you want an interesting story check that one out! It's kind of the opposite to a lost media story in that this thing was just planted in the middle of nowhere next to a road in Japan and no one knew where it had come from! It's simply bizarre
Mike pls do more MJ's lost media!!!
I'm not sure when the Scramble Training rides were decommissioned, but I went on one at Luna Park in Melbourne around 2004 (I think it was from Sega World in Sydney which closed in 2000). I recall the rear projection screen being extremely blurry and the fittings in the ride being pretty old and shabby. No one was aware that Michael Jackson featured in it - so when the video started there was a mixed reaction of screams and people going 'Hee hee!'. Good times.
Glad to see you get a sponsorship bro! Been loving your content, and you definitely deserve it.
10:53 Very interesting video, but this part annoyed me. DD/MM/YY isn't "European", it's how the majority of the world does it. MM/DD/YY should be treated as the odd one here, since it makes virtually no sense and is only used as the primary format in one country.
I always thought it was written MM/DD/YY in the US since that's how we'd say it verbally. Outside of something like the 4th of July, we'd say February 11th 2023 not 11th of February 2023.
"Advanced calculations indeed", jajajaja
This just makes more sense that he was in the development of Sonic 3 since he was so close to SEGA
hey, i wrote the article used here and provided the original YT upload of the scramble training footage - currently helping out on a bigger piece about the AS-1 elsewhere too, so do look out for that 🙂
Do you know any more information on the Australian machine?
@@TokuWaffle the australian machine was last sighted in 2020 - it vanished some point after that so am not sure why this video talks about it as if it still exists, and had been running a completely different ride film to the MJ one for years beforehand anyway
@@ted90909 I'm not just concerned about Scramble Training.
Do you know where it was last seen?

I am a HUGE fan of his music and i still continue to listen to albums to this very day
So the fact that there's a video game that features him in a one or those early FMV games just a dream come true to me
I just love it when things like this are found at car boots/ flea markets etc. Awesome video :)
Always exciting when lost media is found!
This is an insane find!
I swear. Every time I get reminded of what Australia had with that SEGA park, I'm just incredibly disappointed that I could have never gone there being from another part of the world and never hearing of it until decades after it shuttered. That AOSTH Robotnik merchandise I could never have unless I sold a kidney.
I think that the 32X port may have been cancelled due to the child molestation allegations made against Jackson, and over time, the stories went from "the 32X port was cancelled due to the allegations" to "the ride was removed because of the allegations".
Super glad for a new video! Especially about the king of pop. You’re my favorite channel and I’m so excited for whatever you’ve got next!
Imagine Jackson Eh-hee’ing over Xbox live voice chat
"Man, who the fuck sniped me??"
"hee hee"
just found your channel! i love your voice- it sounds like you're always smiling or on the verge of laughing. great videos as well. keep it up, dude! :]
9:30 That is actually the Pound symbol, not the Euro.
Clearly… he says London and “Boot” sale. Boot being a car trunk. Of course it’s pounds…
I was screaming at the screen lol. I have just seen americans make this same mistake so many time before lol.
All Things Lost with the weekend upload to cheer us up 👌👌
What words would I Google around this. “Lost digital media”? Fascinating
Would be nice for you to cover some more Sega lost media. ;)
There was an AS-1 simulator in Paris at Disneyland, the copy probably comes from there
Had me for a sec at 0:03
AS-1 actually stayed long enough in Indonesia, approx 2008/2009. Unsure if its Scramble training or not. I believe it is still on a Indo hand.
I will try to organize a hunt here.
Yooo he's back
I wonder if the cancelled Sonic arcade game, Sonic Ride would have played
on the AS-1?
Rode this simulator once at Melbourne Luna Park with my dad, I'd say early 2000s as I was still quite young (12-14 maybe). Before smartphones and we didn't take the video camera around often, so we never documented it. Had no idea what it was besides it was a space themed sim (can't recall the name it was given), got in the seat next to dad and a few other people then Michael Jackson pops up on the screen lol. It was okay but I wasn't a fan of simulators, the real rides were better so never bothered again. It was in the castle/arcade section of the park by the far wall, to the right of the dodgem cars. As I got older, attractions changed but I didn't pay any attention to the sim and what became of it. From some quick searching, it became the 'Holodeck' a roller coaster sim. Last info I could see was from 2019 and I haven't been to Luna Park in at least a decade. One of the shames of being a 90's kid is that things were not documented thoroughly or even thought of as important to document until you're older and things are just obscure memories. These days you just whip out your phone and photograph things so easily. I'll keep an eye out for it if I ever go back!
Dose anyone remember the MJ wii game? That was fun
Holy Shît! I knew this was a real thing & I wasn't crazy.
I've been on this ride as a kid when it was at Sega World Sydney here in Australia & it's as weird as it sounds.
He ALSO Appeared in The Two

Where is the Australian AS-1? If it's close by I'll go check it out
Parking my ass here incase you find out!
I can't find literally any information on it, All that shows up is the one found in Ukraine or just the fact scramble training was found
I wish All things lost could tell us where he found evidence of it in Austraila
Do you have any more information on the remaining AS-1 in Australia? I'm Aussie so I may have a chance of helping that
Okay. Im gonna be that guy 31/05 isn't european. It's rest of the world. You are the weird one
back in the day cheap as1 lookalikes were in my city fairs and played 3d rendered rides, im not sure if it was sega, but the rides didnt look like they were from sega, it was more like rollercoasters, space stuff, basic fair stuff, these days i think they still have cheap "3d" as in 3d rendered theaters in the big fairs, but when i was a kid, there definitly was one with hydraulics, in a capsule.
Looks like a really cool game, reminds me of The Last Starfighter.
This channel is dang interesting
The one place I wish I could go if you could travel back to the 90s for like a weekend holiday is Segaworld in the Trocadero. I have so many fond memories but by like 2000 it was gone and It bothers me I can't just go and see it with adult eyes.
Cool
Where in Australia is that AS-1? I live in Australia and wouldn't mind seeing it.
9:29 Pounds not euros 🤦♂
He translated the obscure runic calendar for you, what more do you want?
we played that game a lot when i was in elementary school... wasnt it also on Amiga?
Are the AS-1 games offered in any other languages other than English and Japanese, like Chinese, Korean, French, Italian, Hungarian, German, Indian languages and much more, or it that it?
I live in Perth, Western Australia and my partner has been on this machine in the early 2000s in Whitfords. Australia is huge so does anybody know exactly WHERE this is now??? Really keen to try it out if its in my state. Google isnt helping lol
I'm here for the same thing!
I’m a sandgroper as well, so fingers crossed it’s somewhere in Perth. But if I were to guess I reckon it’ll be over east, probably Queensland.
I remember being on this when it was at Luna Park in Melbourne, circa 2003 - 2005!
so its more or less confirmed this unit moves around?
I know for a fact that Sega World Sydney had an AS-1 with this version of scramble training cos I had been on it as a kid but that was so long ago that I figured my memories had gotten mixed up & assumed it was a figment of my imagination.... Anyway the point of all that is I know Sega World AU auctioned off everything when it inevitably shut down so my guess is given how big that AS-1 is that its probably still on the east coast somewhere.
Hey can you do a request can you do lost media on lost Animation of 7 lost and partially found like the tale of the priest and his workman balda
