Not bad for a lady with a double hip replacement who is now 6th degree. Will be Master Cross in a decade we hope. UKTF rocks; wish we were near Edinburgh/UKTF :-( Patterns done with power. Some say loss of sine wave but 5 World titles and 15 Euro titles says different! A very generous lady with her time and always willing to encourage others from white belt up. Role model TKD inspiration. A year ago my daughter was a yellow tag going nowhere. These videos and this lady changed her; now she's a blue belt with the best technique of her peer group. Great work International Instructor Cross (bows).
Very well taught ma'am, I've just passed green belt recently and am now learning all the blue stripe moves. Far be it for me to tell a 5th Degree black belt what to do, but don't forget your Kiai on the last move lol.
Minuto 1:48 YUL GOK TUL Verde punta azul Los 38 movimientos se refieren al paralelo 38º donde nacio y el diagrama significa erudito. gracias Miss Julia Cross
Ma'am; watching your video's is actually helping me get through my gradings. The step by step before full pattern helps me 'perfect' my moves. Red stripe next (21st April). Many thanks. 👊
I have recently learned this pattern and I'm grading for 4th Kup blue belt in September I think, it's such a powerful pattern but very technical too, I know all 38 moves and can do it great in half-time slo-mo but at full speed there are still stance corrections I keep getting wrong so I'll be watching this at least a few times more before my grading thanks for the upload!
Miss Cross, I enjoy the Yul-Gok pattern that you have demonstrated. You go into detail and do it a second time in slow motion. The step by step was good and I learn a lot from this pattern. Thanks for your demonstration. Can you video all the patterns that lead to the first degree in Taekwondo? I would love to see the demonstrations being done by you because I enjoy the demonstration that you did in Yul-Gok Tul. You have been doing a great job. Please continue your good work in Taekwondo.
Hey man, i too had a break from TKD, my break was 17 yrs (now 48) (due to ill health (i suffered an electric shock which led to health problems)) but i'm back now and i can't get enough of it, i am already better than i was before, stronger than i was before (hang on i'm into the six million dollar man now) but no, seriously i am absolutely loving it, i hope you are getting as much of a kick (ha ha) out of it as i am. re-spec
i am struggling a little with some stretches, the splits (about 3 inches away from full splits) and the two leg (touch your toes) seated stretch - always hated that one!!!, but i'll keep plugging away!!!! Can't remember 2 - step sparring or 3 - step. (3 - step wasn't set down in my day, you could just make it up as you went along). Hopefully take my second degree later this year. My instructor is now a 7th Degree, he's bloody brilliant, and he was the same grade as me (1st Degree) when i had to stop, (sigh).
I watch all of these before my grading and appreciate the time take out to show the movements// i had shared these to a few of my NZ club members for there preparation and helps alot with home training :D too bad you's don't show step sparring that would be amazing :)
Very nice performance but movements 2 and 3 are not double punches. Proper description would be two times punching, or movements 2 and 3 linked together with a fast motion. Double punch describes same fist punching twice while flying.
Green belt exams with her.I made it in 7months from0 . Now I'm prepairing for an blue...In NL, Yul Gok is just enough for 5th kup. She's great!! Taekwon!

Si exacto ese era mi comentario. no lo redacte bien... soy pre-azul y me han enseñado y yo mismo lo he visto en la guia del Gnral. Choi... eso significa que la señorita Julia lo esta haciendo mal
0:37 I think your translation is off? Please correct me if wrong but "baro bandae baro jirugi" doesn't make sense. I make it "Gunnan Sogi, Baro Golcho Mackgi, Bandae Golcho Makgi, Baro Jirugi"
@Dick Froma Sorry, but even by hardcore rewatching videos with forms you can't obtain that high level of skill. You need a face to face guidance, to correct and explain certain aspects of (especially more complex) forms. Nevertheless it's great to have such through guidance online like this one. Gave me goosebumps, it's that good! Highly impressive.
UA-cam comments are always so awesome. Insecure people always have to tear apart someone's instructional stuff--the insecure judge, the appreciative appreciate. God knows if you put up a reference video for your students, Mr. Jason, you'd get shredded on here, too. What are you, a Green Belt? I was a snobby Green Belt once, myself; thought I knew everything. Every single video on UA-cam of TKD forms has some jagoff criticizing form and technique, no matter who is in the video (like the commenter is so damn awesome). Every single video. Work on your own technique Jason, I bet you're not as good as you think you are. It's an art and a practice, it will never be perfect, so stop judging and get back to learning. I bet you started TKD after watching The Karate Kid. Am I right? Doubt your pride will allow you to be honest.

You need to watch where you are looking with your side kick in otherwise a flawless tul
Yaxshi
I like it but👎👎👎👎👎🐺 irony like it
How can you grade someone instructor with such obvious flaws?;) Even worse, she put it on UA-cam.
Obvious flaws???? Such as?
Looked good to me. Just because you say it doesn't make it true.......
IndiaRubber Man froma please tangk you
Amazing you would say that about a person who hold 6 world titles and 15 European ITF titles.
