    Never mist cuttings or leaves until after 24 hours. The moisture will get into the open wound and cause rot

    Thanks for this tutorial, it seems quite easy to follow. I do have a question, do you let the leaves callous over first or is it ok to plant them straight away? I am new to propagating so I apologise if I should know this.

    • @charliediamond8101
      @charliediamond8101 2 роки тому +12

      You should let them callous over first just incase, to avoid root rot or any other diseases! Hope this helps :)

    You really should illuminate the base of the attenuatas to show your pupils just where you remove the leaves and how to get the required amount of leaf base. The base of your two plants are in deep, dark shade.

    • @anita4554

      haworthias turn into color brown or black because of stress for being under the sun. if you put them near a window, with good light but not direct sun, they will recover their green color into a week or two. be careful about over watering , give them water only once a week or every 10 days, when the soil is completly dry (push a sushi stick into the pot , to know if it is dry up to the bottom.
