Knowing now about the value of maintaining range of motion in all of my joints, not just working through pain to try and keep doing a particular exercise, I wish I had known about the principles. Kelly teaches many years ago. They are some of the most valuable principles I’ve learned about my body. Thanks, Kelly.❤
These people are what’s wrong with any recreational sport culture. Like the mountain bike bros. If you you’re not doing it exactly like all the rest of the bros, you’re doing it wrong. I couldn’t get halfway through this.
Hello, I hope it’s not to late to ask a beginners question… can you advice a good source of information on advices and methods to start running properly? (Woman 56). Many thanks! Great contents 🙏🏻
Unbelievable I was really interested in listening to this … and then she proceeded to show us how little she knows. Nothing wrong with having a support role. Don’t always need to be in front. Sheesh
See many folks out there who are most definitely over weight and shouldn't be running. Body mechanics, tough for most to understand. Was a sprinter in school back in the early 70's. Athletic most of life. Near 70 now, walking, progressing into rucking then trail running. I have been a cyclist all of my life. One of the secrets to a good healthy life is mobility. That should be applied in all areas of one's daily exercise program. The more the body is fully flexible and limber the less likely one will have issues when incorporating exercise. After the school years and entering into one's thirties, everything should be started slowly, methodically and with a plan of achieving goals without injury. Yes, injuries happen, like accidents but for the most part, can be avoided if proper planning beforehand is sought out. Listen to your body.
I'm no expert but have followed Kelly's work for over 5 years, I think if you watch his stretches the decompression is referring to deep stretches in postions and trigger style work on tissue post training - his technique incorporates breath work and nervous system control, he calls this the pain cave. Check his stuff out and you'll see hope this helps
I have been suffering from posterior shin splints for many years. I love running but if I run more than one session a week the pain becomes beyond my tolerance. I’ve seen many doctors and physical therapist but no one could help me. What would you recommend me to do? I am really tired of it and I hope you can help me
I thought I suffered from shin splints for years until I demanded they test me for chronic compartment syndrome. Bingo. I had it surgically fixed and no more "shin splints".
Do a month of pilates and yoga then will land on ur feet better. Less forces for the lower leg to deal with. I noticed I did single leg RDLs every day 50 a side for a week then when got on the treadmill that loud "STOMP STOMP STOMP" sound mostly went away. Meaning to me I guess less forces going through shin, knee, hip, lower back.
Haha 😂 so true. FYI I finished the video and wow! Are these people arrogant. I just rambled and talked crap about others who aren’t as good as them. Pretty gross. This video was literally all over the place I learn nothing other than they think they are gods gift to earth
That Lady on the right is listening to James Browns "Ants in My Pants" when she can not speak 😅
The realm of conversation is truly a skill, listening is half of it.

Great information thank you so much I spent 5 years rucking and lost 30kgs before I went back to social the 5km Parkrun at aged 57.

I train in a 20lb plate carrier for months before I run a half marathon. Then during the half marathon, I run without the plate carrier.

KELLY I love you. All the best!
Do you have any recommendations for 5th met head pain as result of jumping in CrossFit combined with rucking . It has been 6 weeks - X-ray was normal.
8 minutes of gibberish
It was really. I was hopping to hear about rucking as part of a running program.

Good talk though didn't hear much on rucking. Is it that less technique required for rucking but builds up body for running....I knew that already..
Same Juliet, same. I HATE watching runners and I live by the beach path 🤦🏼♀️
Hey! I’m a neighborhood runner. Give me a break lady; I’m having fun.
What is a way to decongest after exercise? By clearing the nasal passage?

Are you the running police ? Sorry to offend you all with my non perfect running, just avert your eyes if you see me.

Have you checked out knees over toes guy? He recommends tibia raises to nullify shin splints
@@Absent_Abyss thank you for your reply. Let me go check out his stuff

@@navy2af I’m happy to hear your pain is gone. Honestly I’m afraid to go through any surgery. How long was the surgery recovery ?
