Actually, the Crave is mostly used as a utility in this jam. The actual sound (with exception of some filtrering) comes from the Mutable Instruments Braids (the plucked string sound) and the Dreadbox Hysteria. The Crave does sound really nice though, especially when paired with a good reverb. I have some other videos using it as a sound source.
Thanks a lot man, i appreciate it! Most (if not all) of these pieces of gear is actually on the cheaper side, maybe even the cheapest you can get and i was lucky to get the powered case and uBraids module really cheap second hand! If you wanna get into modular/hardware and has absolutely nothing yet, the three pieces of gear i'd recommend looking into is the Behringer Crave (Semi Modular synth), Korg NTS-1 (Digital synth and effects processor. It is the thing that give that wonderful ambient reverb here) and an arturia keystep. I see the crave and keystep for cheap second hand from time to time, so this setup should be achievable fairly cheap
Thanks a lot man, i appreciate it! When choosing my gear (especially the filter), i made sure to choose stuff that didn't just output clean sounds. I wanted something with grid and character!
I've looked at getting a few different things, and I keep coming back to the Crave. I have a Werkstatt, and I just need another module, for variety. I'm not a synth player, but I'm trying to get stuff that's not software based. Thanks!
I absolutely love my crave. Without it, my journey into eurorack would have been a whole lot harder. I think it is hard to find more synth for the money, though the Werkstatt does seem great too! In this video, i am not using the oscillator of the crave though, but just using it as a utility tool for a bunch of different things. I highly recommend it for any kind of modular/semi modular setup, but do keep in mind that it needs some external effects to really shine.
@@divinginspace9624 Absolutely! I have a TC Flashback, and a cheap Chorus, right now, but I'm looking at buying a Shift Line A+ Astronaut 3..it looks perfect for this kind of set up. Thanks, so much.
that has soul. thank you for sharing. 😇🙏🏽
love and peace my friend
Tanks a lot man, i am glad you like it!
Really digging this. Well played.
Thanks a lot, i really appreciate it!

@@divinginspace9624 gotcha! subbed!
Absolutely amazing dude. Every bit of it is inspiring to me. Wish I had the moolah for all the juicy modular pieces you are using. Oh man!
