SQ has actually been clinched on PGS points ever since EWC ended, barring some disqualification, penalty, or last-minute point distribution change. Every team from Twisted Minds all the way down to Freecs could INDIVIDUALLY pass SQ, but it wasn't actually possible for them to all do it at the same time. Any way you attempt to distribute the placements in PGS 5/6 leaves not enough high placements for all of them: Freecs - Would need 1st AND at least 10th Faze/TSM - One needs the other 1st, and the other needs a 2nd AND 3rd NAVI - Needs the other 2nd AND a 4th eArena - The most that's still available is a 3rd and 4th, which isn't enough to pass SQ (I know eArena failed to qualify for PGS 5/6, but I'm still using them to show SQ was ALREADY clinched) Theoretically Freecs could also pass SQ with both 2nds, but then all three of Faze/TSM/NAVI would need a 1st, but there's only two to give out.
