I use the 2's for podcasts when I'm walking. They are perfect for that because you can still hear the traffic, they do not seal your ear. The 3's do this more. So I'd say for podcasts the 2's are perfect, for music you'll get better quality, more bass from the 3's.
Airpods 2. My brother bought the 3s and I bought the 2s. The 2s have a more balanced sound. The 3s are louder in the high frequencies while having next to no bass. The bass drops off significantly at around 80 hz and the midrange is almost nonexistent to me. So it has a “clear” sound while also being hard to understand vocals while also having no impact in music. The 2s have more bass and less high frequencies and sounds like you hear more mids. It’s just more balanced.
@@dperr338Seriously if you find the gen 3 to have better sound quality than gen 2 the your gen 3 must be either broken or fake cuz ain’t no way gen 2s have better sound quality than 3s
@@kerwinchadrick Sound quality is subjective. What sounds good to me might not sound good to you. The only thing the 3s have going for them is water resistance and a few other minor features. I think the sound is worse. I thought they sounded just okay when they were new but never compared them side by side with my 2s until about 3 months ago. It’s not impossible for a next generation of product to sound worse than the last. Actually happens quite often.
@@kerwinchadrick We are also talking about a pair of ear buds with a one size fits all design so some might get a better fit than others. Also the redesign could put emphasis on a certain range of frequencies. It seems Apple was prioritizing higher frequencies by making them more pronounced. It really kind of surprised me how less clear they sound even with the added high frequencies. To have clarity you need more mids as well or the highs just sound too high with no added detail. I 3s have a very odd sound signature.

if you say some numbers, please, put them on the screen 🙏
Thanks. Also, Airpod 3 comes with a USB type C charger.
Is there any way to check which one fits better before you buy it?
I went to the apple store and asked one of the workers if I could test them and they brought out a pair for me to test the fit and sound
@@cruzxyz same
@@cruzxyzI love the 2s and still also use a wired pair. Is the fit similar ? I also hate 3d / spatial sound but I read you can just turn that off
I can’t fit my ears inside the AirPods either 😂
In terms of sound quality, which is better?

The 2 are the best because of the ear tip, the 3 is too big
Bro can you do iphone x vs iphone xs on ios 16.6?
No point. Pretty much the same phone
Thanks
first - hi simple alpaca !
Guys don’t buy AirPods 3 just buy AirPods Pro 2 because AirPods Pro 2 has noise cancellation and AirPods 3 doesn’t have noise cancellation
Yes but i have airpods 3rd there no have The airpods 2 pro Too loud From sound And Did Touch it from Volume
the pros have the silicon eartips wich many heavily dislike , thats why i chose the 3s . its not always just about the specs

Yes but I can’t wear the Pro 😢😢😢 they keeps fallling off,
Silicon tips will for many make the airpods pro fall out of your ear.
