Hi Phil 👋 loved this video, somehow you always make the best videos with good explanations and good topics for the viewers to keep watching What I found weird is that they still don’t have the civitys in which is weird Atleast I might be able to go on a xpt to campbelltown one day
I enjoyed this video and didn’t know Harden station had an island platform (and a subway leading from the platform to the exit). Seems a bit odd but I guess they may need both tracks for coal and freight trains and passenger trains in the corridor. They probably try to time trains travelling in opposite directions at Harden.
Great video. I have been through Junee quite a number of times, though I have never got out there. With all the strange music, I am wondering if your coach was even haunted!!! The Monte Cristo homes there look absoluely amazing and almost like they are frozen in time. Interesting seeing the old baker's cart there. As a child growing up in Marrickville, I remember seeing the baker's horse and cart delivering bread in our street . The bakery was actually located close to where Woolworths now sits today in Illawarra Road Marrickville. Anyway, take care. Rob in Melbourne Australia.
Hoping to get in one more XPT trip before they disappear - although, judging by recent history, that might be some time off. I must get some pix of the train and interior, as you have done. I've a feeling we will look upon them with fond nostalgia, if the response to British travellers to recent replacement trains is any guide.
Because I saw some B7 carriages attached to B12
Hey Phil, has there been any recent crashes with B12 and B7?
didn’t think that Phil would be a ghost hunter😂

Next Halloween - Phil catches an Xplorer to Aberdeen and visits the location of one of Australia’s grizzliest murders.
Happy Halloween Phil! 🎃
Happy Halloween to you too! 👻
My favourite part of the train trip between Junee and Sydney is the Bethungra Spiral
Happy Halloween Phil
