Rosie Douglas, a friend and brother who placed the freedom and progress of his people ahead of any selfish material interest.

I was today years old when I learned about Rosie Douglas. Revolutionary socialist and Pan-African. The journalism in this video seemed a bit predatory when they were talking to his mom but overall informative. Rest in peace comrade you were a true servant of the people may your legacy live on forever ✊🏿

I'm thinking. When will Nigeria ever have a real revolutionary leader?

why this documentay doesnt state the important issue why there was a sit in and that Rosie was disgracefully wrongfully improsoned: the discrimination of a professor against black students!!??????

He could have done better while he was in Canada. He went to Canada for education but instead became a rebel. If he thought going back to Dominica was so barbaric, he should have behaved while he was in Canada. Don't come to Canada and stir up trouble.

You sound like a colonizer. The only reason why he had to go to Canada is because the Caribbean has been strategically underdeveloped developed by the capitalism and neo-liberalism. He was a man of the people
