I love this podcast. I spent $300 at McGills Skateshop today because of you guys. Then spent another $170 to set the rest of the board up at my local shop. As a 49 yo this channel keeps me going.
Bucky needs to be a repeat guest. He left us with a cliffhanger with, "Tony knows my background" well shit tell us ya maniac!!! ALSO he needs to come back with a clip of the switch rodeo
Honestly, Bucky has to be one of the most amazing skaters I've ever watched. The bit where you guys say he's in a league of his own with his style and his tricks is so true. His video parts have to be some of the absolute best of all time. Fuck I love this podcast!
Hell yeah! My favorite time of the week! So addicted to these episodes! Awesome stories and my fellow Aussie skater Jason Ellis keeps the show super entertaining.
BuckYeah!!! Thank you for having Bucky on! He's amazing! He's still killing it and his boneless tricks are a thing of beauty. He's done so many amazing tricks but often doesn't get the recognition. Glad he got props this episode. Thanks for sharing the video footage. I look forward to a round two! 🤟🔥
Growing up as a street skater in the late 90s/2000s, Bucky and Burnquist were 2 of my favorite skaters and biggest influences. I loved everything they did, and never skated vert. Lolol
I'm 4 years younger than Bucky and if I tried to do an ollie I would fall and break my ass. It's crazy to see him still killing it and doing amazing things on a vert ramp. Bucky's ability to do flip tricks and twists at the same time is just flat out impressive.
Awesome interview! I had to honor of skating vert with Tony and Bucky in Denver at the Vans Skatepark (around 1999?). They are true legends... I was the clown. It was surreal and will never be forgotten. My next goal is to someday skate vert with Mr. Ellis!
Bucky was my first favorite skater like 22 years ago! Glad to see y’all are happy and healthy all these years later! lol another great ep in the books!
Bucky skateboards like he races a car. Bucky can drive a car around any given track, no matter what the obstacles, and have it wired in 5 to 7 laps in pretty much well any car. LOL now that is a rockstar.
Best way to start the week! Bucky is my all time favorite skater. No offense to the king of skate Tony Hawk. Since the Pro Skater games which was my intro to skateboarding Bucky Lasek has been my hero. Seeing him turn to a racer as well is even more insane. The fact that he's pushing 50 and STILL rips is a feat of the legendary status Bucky deserves to have. This has become one of my favorite podcasts as of late. Keep bringing the heat boys! 🔥
As a young buck I remember seeing a tour here in the UK at Leigh on Sea in Essex, I think it was Bucky, Chris Miller and Sheffey. I remember watching Buckey and Miller skate the vert and this was when he was learning impossible's on the vert. I was like WTF!!! Will never forget that day. One of my favourite vert skaters for style along with Buster Halterman.
Awesome guest, Bucky Lasek! I was lucky enough to get both of his Powell decks in 2021; the Stadium “re-issue” and his Tortoise deck. Funny, also got a new Civic since they were talking about them! Very hyped to add those to my collection! Great show, I’m always looking forward to see who is on their guest mic.#PowellPeralta#BonesBrigade#BuckYeah!#CivicNation#🛹❤️
Sometime in the early 2000's my stepbrother who got me into skateboarding went on a trip with his mother to California and met Bucky at a YMCA skatepark, who was kind enough to get a photo with him and sign his board. I've always and forever will be jealous of him for that...
A lot of ppl don’t understand how underrated Bucky is. For the time he was such a versatile skater man he can shred on vert like a top tier vert guy but could also rip on street and no one would realize how much of a vert guy he was. At the time there wasn’t a shitload of guys that ripped that hard on both, obviously you had guys like cab that could just do anything on a board but it wasn’t as common as nowadays lol
Buck yeah!! Great episode! Bucky is a legend. Was too short, but we know Tony had to go. Hahaha! Speaking of Tony I just found all the original jackass show episodes and the loop was awesome!
Another great podcast! Be really good if you guys did one about equipment, talking about and showing the design of boards and components from old to new.
The thing I love about Hawk vs Wolf is that it doesn't feel like an interview. It just feels like friends just having a conversation
Yup, keep doing you boys! We're lovin this shit!
Because it is! And same, that's one thing I love about too. 🤙

I cant stress enough about how much i love this podcast and how i want you guys to keep doing it for as long as you possibly can.
I love the inserted skate clips. A lot of the time I have to pause the podcast and search for the clip y’all are talking about
Thanks for showing the "tricks". As a 57 year old who grew up in the Skateboard USA days (FL) Love it.

Fuck I love this podcast!
Amazing. Bucky Yeah !!
Lmaooo, love that Tony starts with an MXC reference

Another reminder of why I will always love him. As soon as he said that I was like that's my fucking dude
MXC on Amazon Prime. I was watching it the other day lol
Hell yeah! Bucky’s in da house! 🤘

Haha! I knew that MXC reference as soon as Hawk quoted it. Loved that show!
That clip of Tony celebrating at 4:25 made me laugh so hard. It was like a little kid being told they could eat their dessert before dinner 😂
yea dude, one of many highlights from this episode! so awesome!
Growing up as a street skater in the late 90s/2000s, Bucky and Burnquist were 2 of my favorite skaters and biggest influences. I loved everything they did, and never skated vert. Lolol
"Horse Wheelies" has got me rolling. Hahahaha
Having the clips in there is amazing!!! Makes me understand things way better
Another banger. Thanks guys. So stoked to see Bucky. Appreciate the extra b-roll as well. Hoping to Stacy Peralta here some day!
Can't stress this enough. UA-cam is a visual medium. Use it. Don't just "podcast with faces."
SO STOKED! 🔥 Bucky is so rad! Legit one of my favorite podcasts. Thank you guys so much for doing hawk vs wolf.
You got that switch rodeo Bucky. Just go for it. Much love
Thank you guys my favorite show to watch
BUCKY!!! SK8 Master. What an amazing human :) True Legend.

I read the title, I clicked, I liked and now I'm watching! Legendary podcast!💪
Another banger! Bucky kills it!
Alex Chalmers would be amazing to have on! I feel that current skating is very similar to the way he skates.

Another fantastic episode. 🥇
Bucky skateboards like he races a car. Bucky can drive a car around any given track, no matter what the obstacles, and have it wired in 5 to 7 laps in pretty much well any car. LOL now that is a rockstar.
The video parts are the best, just in time for breakfast!
Amazing conversation guys. Thanks for doing all of this. Hearing the greats talking shop is a dream come true.

bucky, danny and colin all made me wanna skate vert even tho i was a street gromm back in '89-'90. they reinvented vert and made it approachable!!
Bucky is the man! He is legit living my dream life
tony is getting so good at podcasting
I notice that too, the progression is real

Hawk has great stories, Lasek is a bad ass and Wolf is soooo funny. Great show guys.
Tony and Bucky are the goat imo
Love seeing that the Bucky the hometown hero is still absolutely sick! Definitely one of the only reasons to be proud to be from Baltimore 😂
Thank You Hawk and Ellis! The vibe and flow of your podcasts are extremely enjoyable and inspiring!
Bucky is just as much a legend as Tony. Can't believe how chill he is. Loved being him in the games
Bucky should have worn his ‘I Am THE Shit’ shirt from the Birdhouse video
I've Always wondered why Bucky hasn't been on The Nine Club
Top 5 EASY👌
That knee footage is insane! Glad to have seen you skate Bondi Bowlarama considering how crazy your injuries have been.
Tony with the MXC shoutout! Get it on!!!
Love Bucky is a true mechanic.
😂 just jump right into the knee footage. That should be in the title. The time Bucys knee exploded. That hurt me knees
Bucky definitely 1 of the best to ever do it and still doing it! Such a badass not counting the fact that he genuinely seems like such a great person!
I love these so much I'm so glad it's let the huck jam again
buck yeah!! looking forward to that switch rodeo on the channel!
Another great conversation ! It’s been amazing watching Buckys career! Lifelong fan of that kid from Maryland!
