Hello, thank you for your question. During the grooming, I did not use any lotion on the skin, as her skin is in good condition and the dog’s owner takes good care of her ❣️ Yes, she’s precious 💛

If you’re wondering why dogs are groomed, it’s primarily for their well-being and health. Regular grooming helps keep the dog’s coat and skin in good condition. Grooming prevents matting, which can cause discomfort and even skin infections. Trimming the coat short can also reduce heat stress during the summer and improve overall hygiene.
Additionally, taking care of the paws, ears, and coat helps prevent infections. Especially ear hair plucking and ear cleaning reduce the risk of ear infections, which are a common issue for certain breeds.
Nail trimming is also an essential part of dog care. Nails that grow too long can cause pain, make walking difficult, and even lead to joint problems. Regular nail trimming prevents overgrowth and keeps paws healthy. It also reduces the risk of nails splitting or breaking, which can be very painful and may require veterinary attention.
Grooming and regular nail care are not just about appearance-they are necessary for the dog’s well-being. They improve the dog’s quality of life and also make the owner's daily routine easier.
