proud of the Long Beach Native Warren G. grew up with him as a young pup on the west side of long beach. He took his sound and made it totally different from his brother Dr. Dre. he was influenced by his brother , but he learned to take and make his own sound of G Funk. Cant forget Above the Law either, they was on the Easy E side of G funk when Dre and Easy had beef.

Low key, this is one of the realest hip-hop conversations I've seen in a minute. This talk is a quiet education on the music business, hip-hop production, sampling and some of the more recent history in regards to making money as an artist, and as a live performer. TheMrdetroit313rd ...for the next Kendrick project! Dre knows what it's about, but in a side-by-side comparison...Quik's beats are intrinsically "hipper", both creatively and sonically. Enough of all this tryna sound like Hans Zimmer shit, from these two fingers playing, zero classical music composition skills having "beat makers"! I'd rather hear Quik bumpin' something at 105 bpm with a bass part and drums that get ya head bobbin! That's what I wanna hear Kendrick turn up on :-)

Warren G, I don't know if you know this, but what you did on yo' first album.....come on baby! And it's still all good. I mean it. My dad and I shared the tape, but it was so good that we ended up buying the cd too. And all the singles. My favorite will always be This D.J. and the Regulate remix. So many memories behind yo' music. Let me stop playin'. All I really know and like is the first album. I don't know anything other than that. I'm sorry. I really miss G-Funk now more than ever. I always listen to Domino, Foesum and The Twinz. Puffy and them took over in 1995-1998 so G-Funk fell flat. Go 'head, Ebro. Droppin' a little science on me. Ya'll can buy $800 phones, but won't buy a $10 album. lol. Dang, sad but true. I still buy music. If I like it, I buy it. If I don't, it's gon stay right where it is. Anyway, I just preview yo' new EP and.....well..... :( Imma leave it alone though. Good interview. Oh and Ebro, it's time for you to just cancel Laura and Rosenberg. They don't be doin' nothin'. You are strong enough to handle this all on yo' own. Besides, you don't let them get a word in edgewise anyhow.

LaCheleWallace hahaha oh man don't even get me started on Domino. Maaaaaaan that dude was so underrated!!
I feel like he dropped at a bad time considering Doggystyle came out Nov. 1993 and Domino album drop Dec. 1993 so that did not help!!
Nonetheless Domino STILL went Gold and had a deal with Def Jam/Columbia so he didn't too bad! Today I think he does christian rap tho lol
Plus Domino and Snoop were both:
      From Long Beach
      Both Crips
Both were laid back and melodic sounding
I don't think Domino sounded anything like Snoop but some people had the nerve to say he copying Snoop!! And even funnier is that word is Domino GHOSTWROTE some Snoop lyrics too!!

Wow impressed I'm a new fan, if it wasn't for this interview I would have no idea about Warren G's new releases, I went to see him perform in November but he didn't mention this album.

Nah I watched it, I guess I knew alot about what he was talking about sooo but in response to your cluelessness on why people feel a certain way about Ebro, like can I ask you a question, how long have you been listening to Ebro? Like how long have you been listening to hot97 in general?
