It takes an insane amount of core strength to hold Jimin's pose (notice how he brings his front leg up during the spin, and braces himself to further turn his chest towards the audience on JK's arm). It takes an enormous amount of strength to hold a person at chest height like Jungkook did (imagine holding a heavy box there).
Luckily jimin master in contemporary &modern dance. Those dancer knows how to work on body momentum so they will be lighter when going up. Same case with balerina. Its work on their steps in prelifting. Hold on to their core, some pose will help spiraling the momentum of the body weight. So yeah its not only JK strenght on that moment, but also jimin strenght so it work out beautifully

It is incredible to see this choreography since they mix steps of others and this work of art remains, the part in which Jungkook lifts Jimin in the air is simply a beautiful part of the choreography since that alone says a lot.
