I just ordered the hemp Tula explore. I’m super excited. I’ve tried the mom cozy and a boba wrap and just can’t get a good fit due to my body. I had the gastric sleeve surgery and weighed 435 and have went down to 260 (not my lowest, 6 week old baby) I’m hoping I will fall in love with this carrier and not need any extenders.

Thank you for sharing! I tried the ergo but it couldn’t fit me and I love baby wearing! I have a wrap but wanted to wear past the baby stage and knew a carrier was the way to go and thinking the Tula is the way to go!
I got the toddler Tula and the standard. Standard is 15-45lbs and the toddler size is 25-60lbs.

THANK YOU for this! I"ve been using an Infantino carrier but it's so bulky and i'm not a fan so I ended up purchasing the Tula lite, i'm hoping it'll be an easier use!

I may have missed it - but is this just any Tula carrier? Or a specific one? I have several carriers but I’m bigger after this (fourth) baby and a few of my old carriers just aren’t working well this time.

Just wanted to add that I am a very large person and the Baby Bjorn original carrier works fantastic for obese people.
My daughter is two months old what do you recommend and I wear a2 xl
Lol at the sizes for the toddler one. I was always curious... My 8 month old is 32 inches and 23 lbs... Ack! 🙈
Do you think this carrier would fit a man thats like 3xl/4xl? My fiance is rather tall (6'2 or 6'3) and rather large. So we are a bit worried if we can find a carrier that fits him. I know the tula fits me, Ive had one last time I had a kid, but I sadly sold it. So I dont know if he will fit it, it would be sad to spend that much cash and it wont even fit. But from what I find online, its one of the carriers that run the largest (while at the same time run small enough to fit small people like myself).
I know this was years ago but if you see this, did you get the Tula again and did it fit? I'm about the same size. Thanks

Have you had a chance to review ergo baby 360 as a plus size mom?
Im not plus size, Im fairly skinny, so I had this carrier cause its one of the few that fit small enough. However, my dad tried it and he is like a size l/ xl. He could barely get it on. So I dont think it fits larger people too well

There should be a “baby wearing buy,sell,trade” group near you! Used carriers are just fine and much cheaper!
