Hello, Casey! I recently discovered your channel and have yet to watch all your videos, but since the video titles already intrigued me, I’m positive I’ll enjoy them ;D So let’s start at your newest video because why not :) First and foremost, there is an important misinformation here: For “Creature Feature” (Start Movie Mode in TQ), you do NOT have to finish the game at all. The trophy immediately unlocks after merely clicking “Start”, so you don’t even have to watch five seconds of the game, let alone the whole movie. A “Movie Night” trophy does exist in Man of Medan and Little Hope that requires you to play the full game in couch co-op (while only the prologue is required for House of Ashes), but with The Quarry, it’s by far the easiest trophy to unlock :) That being said, I think Until Dawn still had better trophies, for one simply reason: Collectibles. In The Quarry, I can forgive that you can’t collect all tarot cards and clues in the same playthrough, since that’s also the case with some Dark Pictures games (when it comes to collecting all secrets and pictures). But I CANNOT forgive that your collectibles don’t stay saved, and that you HAVE to collect all of them in a single playthrough. Some games like Until Dawn, Little Hope and House of Ashes make it possible to collect everything at once, but it’s never a _requirement_ because your collectibles always stay saved. The fact that this works differently in The Quarry is imho THE reason why its Platinum is quite annoying to get :-/ Something I do like in both games though: That getting all trophies also means you’re going to see some interesting scenes. These kind of trophies are honestly my favorites because they allow you to see a version of the story you may have never discovered by yourself; and that’s why I love these kind of trophies in both games :) It’s also notable that Until Dawn’s trophies only take about one and a half playthroughs to get (if you do everything right), while The Quarry’s trophies take significantly more time. That’s neither good or bad per se, but still something I wanted to mention :) I wouldn’t consider the percentage of players that have unlocked Platinum btw, since Until Dawn’s players had over eight years to complete everything, while The Quarry’s players didn’t even have two years yet ;) Overall, an interesting video - and I’ll be watching the others soon, too :)

I haven't played TQ in so long I must have forgot about how to get it so thank youuu:) it was very annoying times to go back over and over for collectibles and stuff yes. Like I said you can see other choices ofc. But for TQ it felt a bit meh. It took me a good few times to get some trophies, ofc it was over a few years for UD cause I was on and off for playthroughs. And I was never invested in SMG at that time. Towards TQ I was as it came out a time when I was very focused on SMG titles. And a good point! Sometimes i do question the % of trophies and sometimes not:) thank you so much for joining the channel and I hope you enjoy what I have made so far 😊😊
Great video! It's always fun to see what names game developers come up with for the trophies they're always funny or unique. I do have to say it seems easier to platinum Until Dawn then The Quarry.
I got the Until Dawn Platinum couple years back. Skipped a prom event for it 😂 It was well worth it! Most fun I’ve had getting all trophies in a game! I saved Instant Inferno for last!
Similar to what I did in the previous video, I'd like to put the statistics for the The Quarry (Xbox Series X) up for comparison: Meddling Kids - 0.36% Blood Pact - 0.32% Decked Out - 0.62% The Final Girl - 0.34% I have sunk over 100 hours into The Quarry and would probably say that it is the easier game to 100%/Platinum. Once you realize the specific story beats and locations of Evidence, Clues, and Tarot Cards, it is very easy to find/ignore all of them depending on which Achievements/Trophies you are going for. It has been a minute since I last played the game, but I think my quickest time to complete the game was under four hours. I think the only Achievement/Trophy that could very easily trip up anyone coming into the game as a new player is Blood Pact, since you need to miss very specific QTEs in a certain order to infect all the protagonists.
I love both games but I think Until Dawn had the best platinum. I do think The Quarry had some great moments that were hidden that really changed how brutal the story could be.

All under 1% ? Very low. But 100 hours is alot of commitment fair play.
I love both games but I think Until Dawn had the best platinum. I do think The Quarry had some great moments that were hidden that really changed how brutal the story could be.
I feel they made the TQ well, but not near UD level. TQ did feel brutal but. Of course things could have been different.
