Your ability to resist listening to Ren and The Big Push's entire catalog is amazing :) Even if my job was doing reactions, I don't think I could resist as long as you have. Love your reactions
I have learned a lot about rap history from watching reacitons to Ren's music from reactors that point out the history of Rap and Hip Hop and how often Ren pays homage to the peolple whose music inspired him, I knew nothing about battle rap until Ren was involved in it, really interesting to find out the origins, history and reasons for the genre. Black Pegasus and Knox Hill have both given me a lot of insight into his messages and homages, most of which went right over my head until pointed out.
Try, "The Hunger" or "Illest of Our Times" for his rap-rap. He's getting ready to drop an album (10/13 - Sick Boi) that is hip-hop focused, but he's already said he's ready to move on to another style for the album after that. He's written all the songs for the next one but hasn't recorded them. Warning if you're tempted to try his latest drop: "Love Music 4" ... that one is rather explicit. It's fun, but not one to listen to with your kids or you mom around. LOL. Ren defies being boxed in to a single genre. And I'm happy, because he's so versatile! (Want a 50s doo-wop? "Oh My Woman")
You don't have to cover the videos with a filter, Ren doesn't copywrite his videos. He has said that sometimes UA-cam will put a strike on, but if you contest it, it goes away.
Fisher is a DJ losing it was his dance hit Ren somehow works a rap over it the man's a genius The Hunger is a top rap track all Ren and 100%🔥 ✌️❤️🏴

Pop one, pop two, drop three men - Squid Games Murders (Red Light - Green Light) 14. Godzilla 15. Gorilla in the Jungle - King Kong 16. Bear in the Wood - Grizzly 17. Mordor Lord - Sauron 18. Nazgul - Dark Servants of Sauron 19. The Devil There are many other groupings like Actors/Films, Singers/Songs & of course Sexual Innuendo lol. Oh and double & Triple entendre sprinkled everywhere thru the lyrics.
@sorenm.lairdsorries7547 Yes, yes & Yes Plus: Tarantino Flow no Lullaby can also be rapper Rico Tarantino UA-cam skit titled 'Lullaby' which is a meeting with his therapist.
Id go one step farther and ask "with all the very good rap track out there are you why are you passing judgement on his rapping ability?" Hunger, Genesis, Illest of Our Time, etc.
Ren didn't 'Change'. He's always been able to do EVERYTHING! He's multi-skilled and likes to skip in and out and across the top of, multiple genres. Sometimes within the one performance. This freedom is where true creativity lives.
Bob Marley started out as a Ska artist before reggae, Beasty boys were a Hardcore punk group in 79 before Hip Hop, Poly Styrene (a queen of punk) first record was a rocksteady single, its like you say many change or find their own feet in other music, or some can pull off multiple genre or be unique like Gorillaz
She is on point. Its good to be edgy. But everyone finds their own way, and they are the ones that generally stand out. Rule breakers and mischief makers.
Snow Patrol (UK band popular for epic ballads) were a chirpy indie band, even had the legend DJ Coldcut on tour with them as part of the band. Feeder c.1996 sounded like Jane's Addiction and no one liked them. Tastes change, go with it...
He is in London for one shot / on the underground station. Not sure where they are in the back of the taxi, but yes the rest I have mapped out where it was filmed in Brighton for each shot :)
Check out Illest of our time it is heavy rap or The Hunger. Ren can rap but he can do so many genres,I thought he had more respect for the culture of Hip hop and rap than most of them out there. Fisher is a dance track by an Australian producer and Ren is rapping over it! Brilliant!
"I don't know what style of rap this is, but it is something and I like it." :D Yeah, me too. I like different styles of rap on different styles of beats and this is so original.
Another great reaction - one suggestion, drop the filter for Ren. Most of his catalog is unrestricted, and if you do catch a claim, he'll release it without issue. If your bio is still current, my wife and I aren't far from you, and would love to meet you (and your SO) sometime.
Oh he can rap rap rappity rap. And you can take off the water filter for Ren's videos. He goes way out of his way to make sure you can monetize. If you get a copyright all you have to do is contest it and he will make sure it gets cleared.
Oh, you didn't know Ren was a rapper, rapper, lol. I don't consider this one rap as much as EDM but if you want some actual rap by Ren you should check out "Murderer", "Genesis", and "The Hunger".
Thank you! Finally someone noticed that my man dribbles the ball like someone who has never touched a ball in his life. He can spit fire, but he's not a man of the court. Then again, this is the UK. They're pretty much all like that over here. Also, you need to check out The Hunger, Sickboi and Illest of Our Time. Those are more straight rap.
Dont disagree about his balling skills, but I dont think he has ever claimed to be a wizard on the court, just a wiz on the mic. Who cares about his court skills? Besides he is clearly mixing serious rapping skills and serious penmanship (although cleverly disguised mostly in this song) with having a little fun. Which is who REN is.
Agreed, here in the UK. I never saw a basketball court or ball. I had to play netball in the rain. And couldn't move feet once catching the ball. The only time I saw the game. Was the Harlem Globetrotters on TV when I was a kid.
Ren can rap over anything, there are not so many I have heard that can do that, he has so many cadences he can make something fit. And he can do it live. Check out 'the big push' ua-cam.com/video/uSeCuR51rek/v-deo.html

I agree with a lot of what she says about musical artists expressing themselves and doing their own thing. Best wishes, to you and your family. I'm guessing you watched Rens latest premier, it was great. Its brilliant, just the expectation of what hes going to unleash next. Really brightens up these trying times.
You’re right it’s not a hip hop beat he used the Australian house DJ Fishers song & rapped over it (hence the Fisher retake) he’s actually got a hip hop album coming out October 6th
For some more Ren rap, start with "Genesis and Sick boi" move to "Ocean feat Eden Nash" "Humble feat Eden Nash" "Blind eyed feat Sam Tompkins" "The hunger" "Power" "Illest of our time" "Murderer" and i can go on but yeah ..... Ren produces all the beasts lirycs are written by him on all the songs above i wrote. Here he uses a EDM beat from Australian DJ, this song isn't on spotify because the dj didn't like what Ren did with it and striked him so even if he wanted to put it out as a cover in an album he cant even tough most of the people that listen to it think its FIRE.
People get so defensive of music genres, and it makes no sense. Rap, hip-hop, rock, country, jazz, it's all just techniques, instruments, and tempos. The whole gatekeeping and wanting rap to be "black music" is just stupid. I get that there's a lot of history behind hiphop and all, but times have changed. Also, the people that want rap to be "black" and exclude white rappers from being part the culture and all that, are a bunch of hypocrites. They don't want white rappers to be part of their culture but they don't mind getting rich off of their white fanbases and audiences. Calling white rappers "guests" in hiphop is just disrespectful. Couldn't agree more. Not sure why you are making these generalized statements about Ren's rapping when you havent really listened to any of his "Rap" tracks. At least not according to your playlist. If you have these reactions on a another platform please inform me which ones.
It’s kind of like when Living Color did a hard rock song (Cult of Personality) and people were coming unglued because a Black band was doing what many of these a-holes considered hard rock to be “white” music. Forgetting that some of the fathers of rock were Black: Jimi Hendrix and Chuck Berry come to mind.
I dont know why but that second line always gets me when he says whos that kid from brighton which is fine but why does he not say hes from Anglesey in his music i know the joe sotuation is hard for him but we are so proud that he came from my neighbouring village but this makes me feel like hes ashamed of us
That is an interesting perspective that I didn't know (and I thought I knew a lot about Ren). I would be very interested in his reaction to this question. Being the person he is I would think there is some kind of rational behind that. But then again, maybe not. We aren't all perfect. Great question though.
Anyone who is narrow minded enough to say white people should not rap are welcome to tell Darius Rucker that African-Americans shouldn't sing country. There's room for everyone. Yes Ren and Darius are killing it!
Ren: "I'm not a battle rapper, but I do like to rap."

Please check out The Hunger :) My favorite rap track from his catalog
Rabbit hole entrance open…good like Alice
Please react to Ren The Hunger.
It's my favorite vocal warm up exorcize!
If you want to melt listen to his version of cant help falling in love with you.
@@aaronhommel4615 just curious about it as I am proud to be Welsh, maybe it he doesn't really thi k about it but I did wonder if it is because of joe
@@aaronhommel4615 Its that age old thing, love my roots but I have to make my own path. Conflicting feelings.
You said "cheeky"... you've been in Britain
Anyone who is narrow minded enough to say white people should not rap are welcome to tell Darius Rucker that African-Americans shouldn't sing country. There's room for everyone. Yes Ren and Darius are killing it!
This guy is just getting warmed up.
Yes, bogus b-ball skills :)
