Yes Bill! It IS a "physics thing!" 13:48 on the vid. Thanks for hauling my Pack 13.6 back from Saranac Lake a few years ago to South River and replacing the seat, it makes all the difference to have a committed boat seller such as yourself. Anyone can tell you love paddling and making the best boats possible.
Absolutely appreciate these videos! I have the 15.8 cruiser and it has easily exceeded my expectations on how it performs for tripping!! Fantastic boat! Thank you!
Well. I did it , we went to Collinsville ,wife had a go in a Cruiser 15.8 , we ordered her one in Saphire , now its just the wait until August when it arrives. I LOVE Swift products
Lovely boats. I love that you can customize the Swift canoes to get exactly what you want ! I have a Cruiser 16.8 in Carbon fusion and it is an all around wonderful canoe , I want a Cruiser 16.8 pack boat also
Really liking these boats, just a question on sitting a child in with you on these boats....where would they sit? Just on the bottom of the boat on a pad? Or is there some sort of removable seat you offer? Just interested in best practices or options for occasionally sitting a small child with me in this type of boat.
A question.... the two boats in the video have the same style of seat, but "your" boat has a much taller version of that seat base. Is that an option, or are all the boats that use that base now lower by default?
I have hard time deciding between 14.8', 15.8', and 16.8'. My height: 5'10", 200Lb; I prefer 16.8' because it moves faster, I don't plan any extra load, day trips only. Maybe few times with child. Not sure if 16.8' is easily manageable, but really like longer boats because they are faster ;) I am wondering if it can handle three people for short sweet trips: 200Lb (myself), 140Lb (wife), and 50Lb (child)
We test the durability of your laminates all the time! 😂🤣😂 Once you have a few scratches, you learn to just keep paddling. The white gel coat is likely best for first time owners. It hides a LOT of evidence.
I don't understand why you guys don't put a piece of laxin bullet proof glass on the front end and back end of the boat for extra protection against hitting rocks with it so it won't break it and let it start leaking water in it too

Thanks for showing us some strokes Bill, cheers!
like the back of the seat. Great idea the way it moves with you
The way you use the kayak paddle and grabbing the blade for long sweeping movements is common for Greenland kayak paddles.

Years ago I was given a tour of the sawyer canoe factory. I remember the race boats. I bet that thing would fly down the Au Sable.
Nice video Bill. Can’t wait to get my prospector in July.
Wow!
Stupendous!

Are they the same hull? Could you get the pack boat seat and foot rests?

good eye. the display boats may have had an earlier iteration. We do have both a low base and high base available.
