- This is a glance of our journey from Miami to Exumas Bahamas for a total of 10 days in the ocean. We made this trip in our jet boat ( Yamaha AR240) and PWC. We had the opportunity of doing this trip with great friends. We got to explore the Exumas, from Bimini Bahamas, Compass Cay, Chub Cay, Staniel Cay, Thunderball Grotto, Pig Island, etc. We had a run of 700 miles total. This was an epic adventure till the next one..

Here is our route, we actually left from Fort Lauderdale, FL but Miami will also work, cleared customs and refueled in Bimini, then refueled in Chub Cay, stopped in Nassau to pick up friends plus refuel, and then finally destination Staniel Cay, Exuma, Bahamas.

Those jet boats definitely wouldnt make it in the winter. They're lucky they made it while it was calm. I wouldn't trust them in the ocean at all. They're lake and bay boats.

Other than voluntarily clearing customs in Bimini, no one asked for our passport or immigration paperwork. I'm in the other boat with @saltlifeisaac.
