i hope the queen & baby boomer are all fine & good xx
I feel as if you’d love Bad Education. It is exactly you 😂
Oh I never heard of that thank you 🖐
@@curtrupp4259 no problem mate
I think if you watch this ep without pausing, the build up to the outrageous finale flows better.
Amazing shout with the actor playing the Rabbi. You were indeed correct, it was Nicholas Woodeson who played Posca.
That balloon going when he mentioned the rupture killed me the first time I saw it 😂
We are all glad Queen Boomer is better and your "precious cargo" is secure❤❤❤
Think these were filmed before
They're called molotov cocktails cause molotov told the media he was dropping food packages when really he dropped bombs. When he rolled into town with tanks, the locals created the molotov cocktail - and dubbed it as such - in response the the 'molotov food packages' to fight back against the invaders.
At my uncle's funeral the priest started saying, "He was a very proud Yorkshire man who loved going out on his boat and fishing etc.", and it went on for a good five minutes of complete nonsense and wrong info! A few muffled giggles began straight away, then it spread the longer it went on when we all started laughing as he wasn't from Yorkshire, had never been there, didn't have a boat, hated fishing and everything else was incorrect! Someone eventually shouted that it was all wrong and the priest apologised that the cards from the previous funeral had obviously been left there. Bit different to Martin writing the eulogy as he should've known a family member, but it reminded me of my uncle's funeral!
The name "Molotov cocktail" was coined by the Finns during the Winter War (Finnish: Molotovin cocktail) in 1939.[10][11][12] The name was a pejorative reference to Soviet foreign minister Vyacheslav Molotov, who was one of the architects of the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact on the eve of World War II.
The name's origin came from the propaganda Molotov produced during the Winter War, mainly his declaration on Soviet state radio that incendiary bombing missions over Finland were actually "airborne humanitarian food deliveries" for their "starving" neighbours.[13][10] As a result, the Finns sarcastically dubbed the Soviet incendiary cluster bombs "Molotov bread baskets" (Finnish: Molotovin leipäkori) in reference to Molotov's propaganda broadcasts.[14][10] When the hand-held bottle firebomb was developed to attack and destroy Soviet tanks, the Finns called it the "Molotov cocktail", as "a drink to go with his food parcels".[15][16]
Despite the now infamous name, the formal Finnish military term for the weapon type was, and continues to be, "burn-bottle" (Finnish: polttopullo,[10][3] Fenno-Swedish: brännflaska).[2]
Random fact: Tom Rosenthal, who plays Jonny, his dad Jim was the host of F1 Grand Prix coverage in the UK for quite a few years
For ITV Sport from 1997-2005
A great presenter for Sports programming, including Football and the Rugby Union World Cup since 1995!
This is my all-time favourite episode. Martin's speech has me weeping with laughter every time, i was in physical pain the first time i watched it.
So glad to see the queen looking so well, also so happy to hear an American pronounce Edinburgh correct, my city born and bred
Mine too 😂hi
Eden bro is my favourite Irish town
@@dylanmurphy9389 yes makes me laugh and would love to hear them pronounce where I live. I’m not on patrion so I get to see all this late. But I would love you guys to watch gavin and Stacy.
If you love Shakespeare and you are loving Plebs... see if you can get hold of the BBC sitcom Upstart Crow. Three seasons and some Christmas specials, David Mitchell plays Shakespeare, Harry Enfield is his dad, also has Jim (Mark Heap) Really hilarious!
Barbarians say "bar bar bar" - that is where the name barbarian comes from, The Greeks thought everyone who didn't speak Greek sounded like they were saying "bar bar bar".
I think Richard III is one of the best Shakespeare plays - House of Cards is a lot like it, with the villain talking directly to the audience in a monologue.
My grandfather wanted his ashes to feed a rosebush, so that is what we did. That rosebush is in my garden. I call it Granddad. I think it's a great thing to do!
Please don’t talk about death this has made me cry
It's lovely that you still have things to learn about each other. 😊❤
42.13 "unless you 're completely offal", made me pee my pants😂
One of only three eps that doesn't take place on Friday evening.
The next episode is one of my all-time favourites, absolutely hilarious especially from Martin and Jim, good drama and an actually quite heartfelt dynamic and conclusion, can't wait to see you guys' reaction to it!
19:17 Sergei Molotov is a fictional character from the game Empire Earth. The Molotov cocktail is a term coined by the Finns during the Winter War, based on Russian politician and diplomat Vyacheslav Molotov.
You two are so fun! Good reaction as usual!
Love your videos, love you guys, wishing all 3 of you good health and an awesome future❤
I'm surprised you have not sampled Blackadder or Fawlty Towers yet, two of Britain's finest comedies
Absolutely love you guys, such a great channel! I normally hate channels that just waffle on, but your "complaint department" stories, and other random tangents are just so funny and I could listen to them for hours! Great job guys, keep it up....well until QB drops of course, and then obviously things will quieten down a bit. Congrats btw :)
Noting is sacred when it comes to the British sense of humour, if you can laugh at it you can get through it.
Omfg finally someone else says “ I wanna be a tree”! I’ve told my lot that when I die I wanna be a tree for ages now and they thought I was joking lol
You have just made me wee in army cadets a serious wrecky a guy stood up and said “I wanna be a tree” this just gave me flash backs from your comment @neenie76 all of us in combat’s broke our cover laughing lol thank you sweetheart xx
S5 and 6 r the best imo you’ll enjoy them
I had no idea who Nicholas Woodeson is, however I now know that he's appeared in 2 productions which filmed in my city for certain, and possibly 2 or 3 more depending which episodes they were.
We want ONE FOOT IN THE GRAVE!!!!! PLEASEEEE!!!!!
Yes please I suggested it before it's dark humor they both will enjoy 😊
No!!! IT CROWD. By the way my mum is buried under a tree. Woodland funeral.
@@johnnyenglish33 no thanks
@@Thomasoutdoorsdartmoor wasn't asking you
@@johnnyenglish33 don't comment on my comment then 🤔🤣
I carried my grandmothers coffin.
However, I'm 5'8", and the other 3 bearers, my cousins, are all well over 6 foot tall and built like tanks.
So, I had my arms in the air for the entire distance.
I think you would like Still Game or Two doors down, both fine Scottish comedies…
Seconded.
He said previously that Still Game was not his kind of comedy. He just didn’t like it, so he probably wouldn’t enjoy Two Doors Down either.
Love Two Doors Down.
Currently, Still Game is one of my favourite recaps.
@@beverleyrankin3482 Ah right, shame but it’s not for everyone..
JIM QUOTING SHAKESPEARE IS FUNNY AS HE IS IN "UPSTART CROW" AS SHAKESPEARE'S NEMESIS, LORD GREEN. WITH DAVID MITCHELL AS NEUROTIC SHAKESPEARE!!!😁😁😂😂🤓🤓👍👍
Don’t say Macbeth it’s called the Scottish play😂
Only if you're in a theatre, it's okay to say in other contexts (obviously it's actually okay to say anywhere anyway)
As you're basically all but done with Friday night dinner, can I recommend Fresh Meat to react to? It basically shows uk university life it has Simon from the inbetweeners in aswell as Jack Whitehall 🙌
They still have like 2 seasons to work through after this.
Queen Boomer is glowing and looking quite regal ❤
Molotov was the Russian foreign minister who told the world that he was bombing Finland with bread.
Thus the Finns responded saying they were throwing 'cocktails' at Russian tanks.
Yup Foreign Minister under Stalin. Vyacheslav Molotov.
Yep you're thinking of the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact. I knew my career as a historian would come in handy one day lol
Glad to see you both back and queen Boomer has her baby glow. Your gonna miss doing Friday night dinner only 12 episodes to go. I hope we can get a live feed soon
@@dannystruggles2158 here is 6 seasons.... and 37 episodes of Friday night dinner
@@dannystruggles2158 i know that I'm on his Patreon they're on season 5 already which infact makes it 11 episodes for them to go...
@@dannystruggles2158 also he answered my question during the live feed they were on 👍😅
you can once you have passed they will put your body and earth in a bag with a small tree at the top and bury you ,feeding the tree .
Hoping all of you are okay this is great seeing this need something to make me laugh raining here not making me feel summery at all thanks King and Queen Booner
You never know when a cemetery is plowed through for new freeway!!! Esp. in CA!!😇😇😇
Molotov was in Stalin’s government as foreign minister and minister for armaments, Molotov cocktails was a joke from the soviet army who were angry at their underpowered weapons against the Germans, Molotov known for his decadent cocktails became the target for jokes, a glass bottle of petrol as am improvised explosive with a cloth rag as a fuse became standard globally (Molotov cocktail)✌️❤️🇬🇧
Happy to see team Boomer again.
The Molotov cocktail was named because it was an improvised weapon the people designed to kill him 🤣the joke being like "it's his favourite cocktail lets make him one and deliver it by throwing it through his window"
on the subject of your Shakespeare discussion my fave was Titus Andronicus because of how bat-shit insane and darkly, miserably, funny it is.
Molotov Cocktails are named for Vyacheslav Molotov, the foreign minister of the Soviet Union during the 1939 'Winter War' between Finland and the Soviet Union. The Soviet Union was dropping incendiary bombs on Finnish cities while telling the world the only things they were dropping on Finland was aid packages. The Finns with their brilliant sense of humour started using home-made incendiary devices against Soviet forces but describing the devices as "cocktails and drinks for Molotov" since they primarily consisted of bottles filled with strong alcohol. Molotov Cocktail was born.
King Boomer is also correct about Molotov as Molotov in the same year brokered a pact with Nazi Germany's Joachim von Ribbentrop for Germany and the Soviet Union to partition Poland between themselves, hence the well known Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact that geared most of the western world for a coming war.
This is my favourite episode, Jim plays a great part, as well as horrible grandma
Brassic is a cracking show and filmed locally to me
Brassic isn't great IMHO 😢
Horrible grandma 😂 ... (OFAH is my favourite!itd be my mastermind subject 💗)
This episode was particularly whacky and very funny, they spared no expense with that coffin it looked like a packing crate
I bet 70% of the Brits drink from the tap/faucet like that over here, we should do a poll 😆
name of Vyacheslav Molotov (see Molotov, Vyacheslav), who led the Soviet campaign against Finland in 1939-40, when such weapons were used by the Finns.
I love you two, boss couple, everything will be OK.
Best wishes to the king n Queen and baby boomer, love from England ❤
and it gets more outrageous and better still !
I’ve been waiting for this one
That mean old woman played the creepy hotel owner in OFAH, the jolly boys outing.
It's hilarious when you burst out laughing 😂
Things like that do happen my father at my aunt s funeral dropped his walking stick into her grave then fell in on top of coffin the whole family had to lift him back out
Your powers of observation are excellent. It certainly is the slave of Julius Caesar in HBO’s Rome. What a great series, both season one and two. Rest in peace, Titus Pulo
It isn’t like you have to do a marathon with the coffin it’s a bonding opportunity
its summer so it stays light longer
I think the Rabbi is Posca ! Actor Nicholas Woodeson. (I love Octavia)!
Nail bar tale was an enjoyable interlude. The Queen should've offered to translate for her, could've had great fun.
Gimmie Gimmie Gimmie pleeeeease ❤
Queens baby brain is the best👌😂
You two are adorable. Make a lovely couple and Mrs Boomer has beautiful skin and your chemistry is so sweet. More dogs though please :) love how you appreciate our comedies. It's lost on a fair few Americans. 😊
The feds wore earpieces at every Sopranoes funeral.
I am what they call in the UK a " Baby Boomer" born post Second World War, 50s/60s, and proud to be so
The word, BARBARIAN, is Roman for not a citizen😲😲😲😵😵😵
You get em. That woman in the shop filing the woman's nails should have told her to piss off do a runner customer or no customer. They shouldn't talk to you like that.
Caskets are gruesome. You can put ashes in forest, actual company does it in CA. 🙏🙏🙏
The Series never stated it was grounded in reality so to operate on that assumption will only leave you disappointed.
Grandma is why I go by Cindy!!!!!😳😳😳😲😲😲
@3:40 it would be a Sunday if it the day of the Grand Prix 29/05/2016
More Peep Show with QB
25:05 His face 😂
Of course it wouldn’t happen it’s comedy, you don’t have to explain to British people why it wouldn’t happen, Queen boomer looking radiant.
Massive massive love to the Boomer Fam.
I grew up watching Only Fools and Horses my family's favourite comedy show. The whole cast are brilliant. I have a few favourite episodes one of my favourites is when they go to Cornwall for a fishing weekend and a mad axe murder is on the loose. I think Queen Boomer would like the show. Another Rome themed BBC comedy from the 1970's starring Frankie Howard Up Pompeii I've only seen a few episodes and I think there was a film made. Others can correct me if I'm wrong.
Molotoff
Cocktail? They need to learn what one is. Omg I love them . Yes dear. Evil grandma. My nain( is welsh)north wales for grandma xx
Brilliant episode
JIM'S FEAR OF HIS OWN DOG IS INSANE😵😲😵😲
Epstein is to last names as Adolf is to first names
Not only did that dog eat Saul he ate Saul in a lake of leaking human waste...
My grandma used to knock furniture over, but not as badly as that, and not out of spite.
You missed reference, "black ballons, no, not Balloons" suggesting cond0ms.
My Nan and grandad were both cremated both I still had to carry the coffin with 5 others into the church, I agree with Queen Boomer, I didn’t want to do it either but you don’t have a choice. You have a duty
i carried my nan with 4 cousins and my uncle. We asked to do it but everyone is different
when you get to the only fools and horse special "the jolly boy's outing" you'll see a younger version of horrible grandma
ah yes. good spot
This Episode is odd because being carrying someone coffin is an honour. Not sure why they made jonny and Adam be that Weird about it
i think it’s specifically because the dude in the coffin was like 500lbs, too heavy to carry comfortably
To be honest based on what Martin knew about him, seems they hardly knew him, plus being told you're carry a coffin an hour before isn't much notice
This is my favourite episode of fnd
The molotov mystery continues...
Just for the record the most famous Epstein will always be Brian Epstein the manager of the Beatles
Just a heads up king boomer. Horrible grandma is in an only fools and horses special called the jolly boys outing. 👍🏻
Have you tried watching SAS who dares wins yet mate you may enjoy it
The scammer is back 😂😂
have you watched bad education? if not you should give it a go. If you like the teaching moments in man down, bad education is told from the perspective of a teacher
“Your uncle Jim…” 🙁
PB Princess Boomer xx
Hang on she said most men do that. Who are them most men?
Is gavin and Stacy on the cards ?
King Boomer's Only Fans release "Who is that Gangle Creature?" was particularly disturbing.
