That is 9ne of the theories, another one really strong is that the song is for the fans that left and them walking away from the bus is walking away from their past (there it could be about B.I anyways)
About the first part where Bobby only joined later in the dance was done on purpose. He explained that it was the part where he is supposed to return to iKON after his solo promotions for U Mad and the Lucky Man album, as if he have returned from a music show. But at the behind the scenes during that part, while the other 5 was dancing, he was just behind the frame waiting for his entrance. Haha
Okay, so where do I even begin? Haha. I wanna keep it short. Most of us knew from the get go Why Why Why is a song about them and BI. To me it's basically a farewell and closure for their past and a prelude to a new beginning. There are a lot of references from their journey as a group and symbolisms that represents their past in this mv. It was so well-thought of as if they are finally saying what they couldn't in the last 2 years. They were finally crying over it, questioning why everything had to happen. The last part is such a symbolic one. One ref can be: they were all riding the bus during their first ever debut concert and now they burnt it to mark a new beginning. I have many more to say but it's too long already. Haha.
this is just my take on things according the the MV, if you noticed the glass that is crying it also looks like a cloud raining and rain is BI(B.I)in Korean, also Hanbin mentioned before that as a group they will proceed to flow like a water in the river smoothly so they won't break apart, he too loves flowers the most that he even attended classes for it so i'm assuming the flower is actually him.... Also the wind blowing to them while they were dancing, he also mentioned once that in his next life he wants to be the wind.. And the burning bus represents OT7, because during their debut they appeared riding on a bus to continue their idol journey and now them watching it burning as six ended their original plan to remain 7 but he will never be forgotten.. Bobby not being part of the dance routine in the chorus as they explained represents him doing his solo and as he did his verse he came in also as a representation of him coming back to them after finishing his solo comeback.. And the Payphone where he drop his ring, it somehow looked similar to the one they used in Love Scenario where Hanbin passed by even the tempo of his rap here zounded like Hanbin's part in Love Scenario.... The song lyrics also seemed connected and similar to I'M OK(even some scenes) and FLOWER.... So in my conclusion LOL, WHY WHY WHY is their indirect goodbye song to their leader and beloved brother.... Hanbin is no longer part of iKON but his traces remains not only in this MV, the song itself but to every members and as an iKONIC that has been watching them since 2013 it's not hard to notice and picks on hints.. this happened in FLOWER too before except that it has no MV, DK who composed it said its for ikonics but the lyrics screamed too much of Kim Hanbin and during WIN DK said he looked up to him the most like his role model since Hanbin is the member that push him harder to not give up.... And here in his part at the end he said i never not love you from the start until today....
i cried at the end hearing DK's vocals lol. the song just feels like them saying goodbye to an end of an era, to B.I, etc. even though iKON is always 7.
Bobby actually did say that part in middle where he came in is as if he just got back from promoting his solo album Lucky Man tho so I personally like that part 😉 anyway thank you for your love! Glad you got 2 Bobbys 😂
Everybody seem got prank by Bobby.. 😅 .. This is is a good comeback for them eventho only a digital single.. after everything happened to them I just want to them back to the track. For next reaction, I hope you can react to their live stage.. coz they really really good at singing live.. Rythm Ta Rock Version, B Day, Just Another Boy, Freedom,Dumb and Dumber and Bling bling will be your mood buster, while Just Go, Adore You and Just For You will show how good their soothing voice compliment to each other. They join Kingdom to get on the stage again after hiatus, to get perform more and more (they just love to perform, and they kinda feel guilty to make fans waiting for so long, so it's their way to interact again with fans, iKON is really talented personally and as a group, and I think no need to prove anymore, Kingdom will be their 5th survival show, even they make a joke about how they going through so many survival shows, they'll going to have fun there (and hopefully make friends since they don't have many friends outside the group, they all kinda introvert and YG didn't give them much activities before) After all things happen to them, why they have to going through so much :') I'm just finished watched your iKON reaction vids.
