It’s because her meaning in the story was so powerful. Murano (Satomi) kept ignoring/abandoning Shinichi through most of the story, even though he needed someone. Kana symbolizes that person that would never turn her back on him. It was powerful seeing her ghost/spirit stopping Satomi from running away from Shinichi again.
There is no way to describe this sound, a mix of sadness and nostalgic memories, Parasyte really is one of the best animes, this melancholic music brings back memories, as if I had really lived this...

Even so , considering the studio is making sequels for animes that was a huge hit in japan , they wouldn't make a sequel for this anytime soon even if it had potential. Parasyte had very bad sales in japan.

At the beginning, I thought Kana was a bit of a weirdo/stalker but later when i looked at it i noticed: what if i was in her spot? What if i could sense someone and not know why? Its so obvious that she was only doing what she sensed and it showed her that Izumi is her soulmate. And on top of that, having dreams about that person? Bro, it was just unlucky that she died trying to sense what she thought of as her soulmate.
I was so annoyed at the way she died because she was told several times by Shinichi not to follow the wavelength and she still did. I mean I don't blame her, if you were in her shoes you'd never expect a man-eating monster to be on the other end but she should've listened
i think her character would've been a lot more relatable or easier to understand if, maybe a bit more of explanation and backstory was revealed for her. Because tbh personally if i could feel someone's presence (the opposite sex) i wouldn't immediately turn to a crush. first is curiosity but I wouldnt approach them so easily even if Ive met them b4. and after all the stuff shinichi told her, if i were in her shoes, i would be freaked as hell because of the news about the serial killings lately. granted, it wasnt like her actions are crazy or not understandable. but id wish theyd given us a bit more on her. maybe a lonely childhood made her feel the need to be connected with someone even greater. or something to make others understand her a bit more than just, "oh she got a mad crush on izumi for being able to sense him". i feel like the author had the right idea of kana's character, making her be a step into izumis character development but the character itself was not as well written as it could've been. still sad she died tho. didnt think she would die so fast, thought she would be a key member of izumis circle since she could sense parasites but her death was so powerful.

Kana had dreams, was actually in love with Shinichi and could sense him. It might have been her fault, but some/most people would assume it isn't a cooincidence and they're linked by the red thread of fate or something. So it's her fault, but it's not really HER fault but rather the human brain thinking irrationally.

Kana's evolution was amazing from a near girl to a love struck one. Imagine yourself at 15 and finding you have a power to feel that other person anywhere? Wouldn't you believe it to be fate? Would you throw yourself wholeheartedly at it? Kana's fate was heartbreaking but the transition and portrayal were masterful!
Agreed. At first, I saw Kana as some idiotic enamored clueless girl who just never learned when to stay out of trouble. After watching through to her death, I realized that she didn't really have much of a choice in the matter. As you said, her actions were derived from what a young girl would probably do when discovering she possessed such an ability. Now I feel really bad for her, as her fate was sealed from the day she met Shinichi, and as Migi said, there was nothing that could be done to save Kana, as it was only a matter of time before she was killed. Parasyte is such an amazing anime. The plot isn't overly astounding, but the character development is the best I've ever seen in an anime. Also, the well timed uses of this song during the show accentuates the dramatic moments perfectly. Love this anime, so much.

I just started watching Parasyte, and damn, did it blew my mind. It focuses on the plot, more than Naruto/DBZ could've ever had. That's just my opinion. Please don't hate me for that
+mariusss95 Some episodes before mom died and was controlled by the parasyte, the parasyte (who killed mom) was often in scenes and without the main protagonists so I thought that this will be a side character which will never get into contact with the main characters. But then the parents of shinichi left him and I was like "Please don't die, there is a parasyte out there who is searching for a new body!" (Sorry for my bad english)
The philosophy of this anime hits way more than most. it shows someone slowly becoming less human. it shows the dark and light parts of every one of us.
I don’t think there any other soundtrack that can move me as much as this one. An absolute masterpiece of a soundtrack. Each day I bring myself here to listen to it and it feels oddly weird because each time I listen to it I feel like I’m empty inside.

It isn't popular as hell. sure some people watch it and it's pretty well known but it isn't as popular as animes like vinland saga berserk monster etc which are good yet well known and rated due to the hype given by the fandom but parasyte had no such hype and people came to know abt the anime people watched people felt good and they moved on. Tbh all the girls in the anime were stupid and/or annoying. First the friend who confronted shimada and caused the school massacre. Second is kana being overly infatuated with her “sense my soulmate” bs. If you had just STOPPED for one moment and analyzed your ability, maybe you’d be alive. And third, Murano being annoying for always asking Izumi “are you really Izumi?” Like seriously? I get why she’s asking. I really do. But did the author really have to make her ask every other episode? It was a huge foreshadowing on Izumi’s change in personality but damn, over using that question really rendered its emotional aspect. The first time she asked it, i was like “awww she can sense it” and then she just kept asking and I’m just. 😑 such a good anime, if only the girls were slightly smarter.

Also it feels so strange how this basically became Kana's song but what the song represents fits her, her feelings towards shinichi and her final moments to a T
I read parasyte when I was in high school and just finished the anime. I didn’t think it would be anywhere near as good as it was. I watched it twice back to back and was amazed. Specifically by the sound track. It pumped the fucking feels but you knew some shit was about to get real when they busted out the dubstep.

I’m only 21. :) The one thing I can say that is neat about it is that the week after I finished reading the manga they announced the production of the anime. It’s crazy that the week after I finished reading a manga that is almost a decade older that I am (at its initial release) they make it into a badass anime. It was also interesting to see its surge in popularity due to the anime. Prior to its release I knew no one that had heard of the series but now it seems like everyone I know has seen it. Truly a classic :)

At first, I disliked Kana when I was younger. Now rewatching the series, I love her. She was that one person who didn’t turn away from Shinichi no matter her true intentions. Meanwhile, Satomi consistently turned her back on him when Shinichi really needed someone (now Satomi annoys me). Kana’s image/spirit confronting Satomi when she was going to turn her back again meant so much.
Lol I watched this anime YEARS ago, got curious on the OST though but I remembered that one. I remember that I didn't cry at the end of this anime, and that there was some general speech at the end about humanity bla bla (probably to this soundtrack aswell) and idk it didn't really say much to me, so much so that I forgot the whole plot almost and especially the charachters lmao. Seeing people talking about some "kana" make me go "wtf... ??? is this the same anime I watched? who the fuck is kana??" lolol I think the main part of the plot was that MC was hunted or something.. remember some kind of hunting and escpaping but then counter-hunting (probably not the latter one) . Anyways, if I don't remember enven basic charachters names and the full plot that just speaks of a badly written story, doncha think? Whatever made it into the "psychology" tag was weird too I remember now, caus instead of actually challanging you with interesting psychological symbolism and parallels they just straight up said "what is humanity, in existence" "what is our place in the world" or something generic like that. Even if it qualifies it's the most boring and lazy way to do so. I could've just aswell been sitting in psychology class instead of watching anime if I wanted to be asked such questions. What makes good psychology anime, or just any story to be fair, is wheN the charachters and the world building (how the charachters live in and inhabit that said world) do and say things that are not that weird on the surface, but rather when you reflect on their actions and dialogue, you can then be challanged with some interesting symbolism, metaphors or parallels. The best anime that did this so far is Ergo Proxy and they take it even a step further by making you think the charachters and their interactions, what they do, is all normal relative to that world, until the story progresses and you slowly realise that there is so much wrong with that world and even when you realise that everything is wrong with it, you will then YET again feel enlightened by how it's even more wrong from what you first took for granted was normal stuff
@@siegpasta There were some dumb bits in Parasyte I won’t lie. It was kind of hard to really relate it to being psychological when characters are making horror movie decisions or unrealistic. Parasyte was one of those gateway anime’s but I still respect it. The action and suspense in Parasyte can have yah at the edge of your seat. Ergo Proxy was a masterpiece and definitely deserves that praise. One of the most interesting anime’s I’ve watched

I guess my overall enjoyment of it became jaded from all of my friends back when it was airing, constantly talking about how good it was and that it's a "classic in the making" and a "must watch" "straight up 10/10 dude" lol. Still interesting on what people see in that story and go "masterpiece!" whenever I saw everything they also saw, but never noticed anything that special.

This is so depressing to hear now that I don't have the show to watch. very amazing to watch still though. Man I loved Parasyte a lot more than a lot of recent animes haha. Few things actually make me take the time to favorite but damn haha.
Mr. Nutella idk first season really gave me more emotions to work with. I like to think of the second season as a happily ever after almost even though the ending was sad sort of. First seasons the episodes where packed with content second they started slacking, they made way to many episodes for something that could have just taken a tiny bit and they didn't use GGO long enough imo, because that was a really cool idea.
Griffith did everything wrong but Donovan not, this is the only anime i watched, i don’t know anything about anime what so ever, but this really touched my heart for some weird reason. So i don’t really know what manga or something is but many people talk about it lol.
Manga are basically like comics, the anime series is based off the Parasyte manga which ended in 1995. Wish there was more though, really liked the series back when I watched it.

Parasyte is such an amazing anime. The plot isn't overly astounding, but the character development is the best I've ever seen in an anime. Also, the well timed uses of this song during the show accentuates the dramatic moments perfectly. Love this anime, so much.

I don’t think there any other soundtrack that can move me as much as this one. An absolute masterpiece of a soundtrack. Each day I bring myself here to listen to it and it feels oddly weird because each time I listen to it I feel like I’m empty inside.

La philosophie de la place de l'homme dans la chaine alimentaire, le fait que les parasites veulent juste se nourrir et survivre, la place d'Izumi dans ce combat.
C'est juste incroyable en plus d'une relation tendu entre Migi et Izumi au début, où Migi rabaisse Izumi et qu'à la fin il se sacrifie pour sauver celui ci alors qu'il savait qu'il allait y rester.
Bref tout ça fais un bête d'anime

It isn't popular as hell. sure some people watch it and it's pretty well known but it isn't as popular as animes like vinland saga berserk monster etc which are good yet well known and rated due to the hype given by the fandom but parasyte had no such hype and people came to know abt the anime people watched people felt good and they moved on. They didn't try to hype it up or make it famous through anime edits and stuff. So even if it is a little popular it's still underrated.@@NathanSimp

Tbh all the girls in the anime were stupid and/or annoying. First the friend who confronted shimada and caused the school massacre. Second is kana being overly infatuated with her “sense my soulmate” bs. If you had just STOPPED for one moment and analyzed your ability, maybe you’d be alive. And third, Murano being annoying for always asking Izumi “are you really Izumi?” Like seriously? I get why she’s asking. I really do. But did the author really have to make her ask every other episode? It was a huge foreshadowing on Izumi’s change in personality but damn, over using that question really rendered its emotional aspect. The first time she asked it, i was like “awww she can sense it” and then she just kept asking and I’m just. 😑 such a good anime, if only the girls were slightly smarter.

This melody is a symphony of pain and love cold and warmth as it fuses to contradicting feelings so difficult to explain and yet is so easy to know when one feels them. Also it feels so strange how this basically became Kana's song but what the song represents fits her, her feelings towards shinichi and her final moments to a T

I read parasyte when I was in high school and just finished the anime. I didn’t think it would be anywhere near as good as it was. I watched it twice back to back and was amazed. Specifically by the sound track. It pumped the fucking feels but you knew some shit was about to get real when they busted out the dubstep.

The one thing I can say that is neat about it is that the week after I finished reading the manga they announced the production of the anime. It’s crazy that the week after I finished reading a manga that is almost a decade older that I am (at its initial release) they make it into a badass anime. It was also interesting to see its surge in popularity due to the anime. Prior to its release I knew no one that had heard of the series but now it seems like everyone I know has seen it. Truly a classic :)

Obviously popular ones like attack on titan are pretty amazing, welcome to the nhk is amazing, Monster has one of the greatest anime villains ever written, that show is amazing, steins gate, code geass, the monogatari series, I could go on, there are a lot of anime’s that are just very great in different ways, so idk if I could come to one anime in particular that is the best. If I had to pick I guess I’d pick attack on titan as generic as that may sound, I thought the show had such good writing.

At first, I disliked Kana when I was younger. Now rewatching the series, I love her. She was that one person who didn’t turn away from Shinichi no matter her true intentions. Meanwhile, Satomi consistently turned her back on him when Shinichi really needed someone (now Satomi annoys me). Kana’s image/spirit confronting Satomi when she was going to turn her back again meant so much.
Lol I watched this anime YEARS ago, got curious on the OST though but I remembered that one. I remember that I didn't cry at the end of this anime, and that there was some general speech at the end about humanity bla bla (probably to this soundtrack aswell) and idk it didn't really say much to me, so much so that I forgot the whole plot almost and especially the charachters lmao. Seeing people talking about some "kana" make me go "wtf... ??? is this the same anime I watched? who the fuck is kana??" lolol
I think the main part of the plot was that MC was hunted or something.. remember some kind of hunting and escpaping but then counter-hunting (probably not the latter one) .
Anyways, if I don't remember enven basic charachters names and the full plot that just speaks of a badly written story, doncha think?
Whatever made it into the "psychology" tag was weird too I remember now, caus instead of actually challanging you with interesting psychological symbolism and parallels they just straight up said "what is humanity, in existence" "what is our place in the world" or something generic like that.
Even if it qualifies it's the most boring and lazy way to do so. I could've just aswell been sitting in psychology class instead of watching anime if I wanted to be asked such questions.
What makes good psychology anime, or just any story to be fair, is wheN the charachters and the world building (how the charachters live in and inhabit that said world) do and say things that are not that weird on the surface, but rather when you reflect on their actions and dialogue, you can then be challanged with some interesting symbolism, metaphors or parallels.
The best anime that did this so far is Ergo Proxy and they take it even a step further by making you think the charachters and their interactions, what they do, is all normal relative to that world, until the story progresses and you slowly realise that there is so much wrong with that world and even when you realise that everything is wrong with it, you will then YET again feel enlightened by how it's even more wrong from what you first took for granted was normal stuff
@@siegpasta There were some dumb bits in Parasyte I won’t lie. It was kind of hard to really relate it to being psychological when characters are making horror movie decisions or unrealistic. Parasyte was one of those gateway anime’s but I still respect it. The action and suspense in Parasyte can have yah at the edge of your seat.
Ergo Proxy was a masterpiece and definitely deserves that praise. One of the most interesting anime’s I’ve watched

I guess my overall enjoyment of it became jaded from all of my friends back when it was airing, constantly talking about how good it was and that it's a "classic in the making" and a "must watch" "straight up 10/10 dude" lol.
Still interesting on what people see in that story and go "masterpiece!" whenever I saw everything they also saw, but never noticed anything that special.

Mr. Nutella idk first season really gave me more emotions to work with. I like to think of the second season as a happily ever after almost even though the ending was sad sort of. First seasons the episodes where packed with content second they started slacking, they made way to many episodes for something that could have just taken a tiny bit and they didn't use GGO long enough imo, because that was a really cool idea.

Griffith did everything wrong but Donovan not, this is the only anime i watched, i don’t know anything about anime what so ever, but this really touched my heart for some weird reason. So i don’t really know what manga or something is but many people talk about it lol.
Manga are basically like comics, the anime series is based off the Parasyte manga which ended in 1995. Wish there was more though, really liked the series back when I watched it.
