Very good ride, I have done it very very much time in the past I’m a Miami men, but at 71 I am very old BUT still riding my bike, (started when I was 28 long time ago)
Loved the ride such a beautiful place thank you Luis my first real look at Miami Tjtanium sounds like the real deal ,Thank you for sharing this ride be blessed Sir.
Hi Luis, love the content as always. I ride a B’spoke Ti All Road, that features different tube diameters through out the size range to tune the characteristics of the ride. I rode a small tube diameter Lynskey, and definitely felt the frame flexing over bumps and out of the saddle, where I managed to make a threaded BB chirp.
Thanks for sharing your you were riding down here in my neck of the woods Miami I’m glad you got a good taste of it and enjoy the the scenery we have down here one of these days. I’ll get a chance to come up and ride in broward . And thanks for the feedback on the titanium bike maybe one of these days I’ll get one.. I was down at Blackpoint Marina Saturday afternoon late afternoon, but I Road gravel down south there’s a nice gravel trail that you can leave from the parking lot and go all the way down to practically Card sound Road. It was a 32 mile loop down and back.
Miami has definitely become more bike friendly since I move to Seattle in 2009. Thanks for the vid of Key Biscayne. Last time I rode there was after Hurricane Andrew. Wow have the place changed!
Hi Steven. While there are rides that depart from this location. This is not a regular ride. I am not sure of the ride schedule. Thanks for watching 👍🏾
I have owned several Titanium road bikes and I have noticed one thing about Ti frames with integrated headsets the front end always feels really harsh and stiff in a 'bad' way. My Lynskey and Road Ti have integrated headsets and they feel 'dead'. My Moots, Mosaic and Merlin are very lively, yet stiff and those do not have integrated headsets just 'normal' Chris King headsets. I realize that the Moots, Mosaic and Merlin are higher in price but that is my observation. Seems related but I am not a expert in frame design.
I would go to one of the ike shops like Mack cycles who have beginner rides... or any bike shop in the area. Also, check out Miami Bike Scene on Facebook for group rides near you.
Your videos are inspiring.i have a question. Have you ever rode a Walmart bike called an oak trail gravel bike? I watched other UA-camrs talk about it but I feel your word is more reliable. If you can let me know what you think about it.
@@thegoodwheel Small brands like Condo have some aluminum bikes like the Italian and Italia RC, Standert have the Kreissage and Kreissage RS. Both of them have fantastic steel frames as well. Vaast is the only company I can think of that currently makes magnesium bikes.
Just purchased a Specialized Diverge STR because the roads here in California are rough. I think that I’d get dropped in a heartbeat because my average speed is 15.1mph and everyone I see on road bikes 🚴 are cruising at 20. 🤠
@thegoodwheel How’s it going Luis! New subscriber here, I’m interested into getting into cycling and live in Miramar, Fl.. can you recommend good places to ride as a beginner? Also any recommendations on a good beginner Bike? I was looking into the Trek Domane AL 2 gen 4. What are your thoughts on it? Thank you. 🙏🏼
Hi Christopher! Thanks for tuning in. Unfortunately there really aren't any comprehensive new cyclist orientation classes these days. I did one for a few years after covid. I would check some of the area bike shops to see what is offered. There are many groups out of Weston of varied levels. The closest thing I can think of to being new cyclist friendly would be Weston Warrior ride. Find them on Facebook. Hope that helps.
@@thegoodwheel Thank you! So if we add pedals then 17 should be the final weight. Safe to assume a 56 will be maybe 18 or a bit more and a 58 around 19~20.

Glad you enjoyed it
Cannot wait to make it down there this fall! Just want it to be a little cooler before I make the trip. As always great video and footage!
Yeah man, it has been brutal down here. Rides are starting at 5 or 6 and it is still hot and muggy
Nice candid shot of you on the bike after the bridge section. Looking forward to The Darrk Star demo rides from your riding buddies.
Thank you.
I am really looking forward to posting those reviews

Hey Bro. Yeah, I have heard of the gravel down there. I'll definitely do it when the temps cool a bit.👍🏾

Great video as always! Hope to see you at the 💯 mile in November.
Thanks for watching 👍🏾
Really interested to see more climbing on the BTi. I wish they had more weight info on the website without me having to do all the math lol
I do wish I had more climbing opportunities. Thanks for watching 👍🏾
Love it❤
Thank you!
Just so different riding from my hilly local
That must be a good ride.. do they start riding there every weekend? If so like to be a part of that ride.. glad that you enjoyed the ride .😊😊

I live in Miami in the black-point area. I really enjoy watching cycling. How do I start and how do get into a group like this.

No, but that would be real interesting 🤔
2:34 Miles is everywhere lol. Always one-handed #DNN
He is indeed😂
Would be cool to see you try out aluminum and magnesium bikes to.
Absolutely!

How are the integrated handlebars? I’m considering pulling the trigger on the Road Ti.
Hi Travis. They worked great for me. They are adequately stiff, and the drops feel natural to get into. I thought it was a very good bar.

Is this an afternoon or morning ride? Wish we did afternoon or chill weekend rides here on the Gold Coast, QLD every ride is so early haha.
It is a morning ride. The Afternoons here are intolerable hot and humid, so we try to get them done early. Thanks for watching 👍🏾

@@thegoodwheel Thank you, I will look into it.
Luis, sorry if I missed it but what size is the Ti bike and weight?
It is a size 53 or 54 and the weight is
16.9 pounds or 7.65 grams with no pedals. I don't think I ever shared that👍🏾
@@thegoodwheel Thank you! So if we add pedals then 17 should be the final weight.

I sold my Litespeed Tuscany Ti bike a while back. Now I regret that.
I understand that sentiments Benny
See a lot of short guys with thick legs. Lots of riders I see are short and squat. What about riding when youre 6ft1 and have thinner legs?
Absolutely noooooo one was riding in the drops SMH
