Wow! What a test! That 4903-9221 or possibly 9222 is very loud; even louder than the Edwards 757-7A-HS Horn/Strobes. I love all the models of Horn/Strobes here
I was wondering at 0:33 what was that low pitched screeching alarm on continuous I swear I've heard those before but I don't know what they are if I had to guess I would say maybe a mircom select a horn?
@alexandersfirealarms That’s what I thought at first too. But it was actually something on one of their conveyer belts. It was still sounding after the system was silenced and reset. It does sound exactly like an SHG though!
Wait, why do the strobes need to be synced? Like whats the problem with them not being synced? Just a curious question I have if you don't mind me asking.
It’s a very good question, the answer is because that is what code requires. NFPA 72 which is the national fire alarm code states that any A/Vs that share a common area need to have their audibles and strobes synced together to try and look the most appropriate as well as to prevent triggering symptoms of someone that might suffer from epilepsy or something similar.
@ZDC2002 oh ok makes sense. I figured it was code to the NFPA72. I just wanted to know why that's all. I figured it would be more of a confusion if the strobes randomly flash in the same room.
@ZacharyHappy366 I legally cannot disclose the name or location due to my obligation to protect our customers privacy, but I can tell you just in general it’s a huge warehouse/shipping facility.
1:12 massive ceiling fan
3:00 that’s a 4903-9221. Super rare

Nice One Check
1:27 Fire Alarm Replacement Needed
Not quite; if the strobe flashes and horn sounds then it doesn't need replacement; it just needs to be cleaned.

Nice, White mechanical 4903s are not easy to find. Absolute Foamer system right here.
Rare!
Are the integrities synced with the genesis?
3:00 9219 Jumpscare
Is there a third generation SHG’s?

I bet this building’s contract has been passed through many different companies.
EST used to install system sensor devices on a regular basis. Up until the early advances.
