Lily, I just want to say how I love your content, and how it is always so genuine and real. We are close at age (am about to turn 32 on May 21st!), yet I don't have kids of my own, but the way you integrate the different aspects of your life makes it relatable and interesting even when we don't all share the same life stages. Love your work and just wanted to put it out there, have a great Sunday!
so glad youre skin / lips are better I think seeing a proper skin doctor was the right way to go as some of the other beauty 'experts' aren't really experts.....
Your content has changed so much... everything has slowed down and chilled- good for you, you seem happier now! All the best to you, Yummy Mummy and your family.
Lily, what products did you use on your lips? My eczema gets so bad and nothing is helping anymore! It kind of cycles in severity but never totally goes above my lips like it used to. 😔 Also, do your lips still flare up and you have to use the creams or have they been fine since?
I also have very bad eczema - so bad I used to have permanent bleeding cracks in the corners of my mouth and my lips would split right in the middle. The only thing that has worked for me on my lips is First Aid Beauty Ultra Lip Therapy. I swear by it. Not a petroleum-based product which is great because petroleum based products never really helped me much, and it's not a cortisone which is also great because I was very concerned about putting cortisone on my lips. Give it a shot. It might work for you.
Have you guys heard of the AR method? I’ve had eczema for my whole life, long periods of time on my lips and his method of combing steroid and antibiotics has help calm the eczema all over my body - worth looking at if it’s something that is persistent and doesn’t seem to ever get better!
Long term fan of Sasha Juan, I call it szechuan. You need to try their hair products like Styling Cream, Finish Cream, it so clean, soft natural and I adore them all. Will def try the shower gel now xxXX
I love favorites videos!!! Thank you 😊 Just an idea: you could do a vlog including you and Rich reacting to your favorite TV show, I really liked reaction videos/vlogs too
We used Naty baby wash and shampoo for our son from birth on, no scent and just very pure. Tried the child's farm bubble bath recently and he got itchy skin and pointed that out to me. Scary. Lots of child friendly products are not at all. Glad Grey's arms are better ❤️
Instead of rewinding you can put on subtitles. I put it on everything because most of the time when you think you're understanding it all, you might not be haha!
I would love to know the creams which helped your eczema on your lips 🙏🏻 I’ve tried la Roche posts b5 recent which is good but if I miss a day I feel them getting sore again. I also use a Eucerin balm as a daily balm ( a replacement for Vaseline really but much better!) xx
something called "Tacrolimus" has massively helped to rebuild the skin around my lips, maybe ask your doctor about it and see if it's suitable for you.
I’m not sure if it’s a habit or a sign of something. If not out and wearing lipstick I have the urge to peel my lips especially now that we’re lockdown. It’s always chapped, it’s also probably my fault for not applying lip balm during the day. Do you have any natural simple lip balm/ care for soothing and healing the lips.
yeah, same. I lick my lips a lot which is the worst! The one I mentioned in this video, the Lansinoh nipple cream is great. And funnily enough, the doctors all recommend vaseline as the ingredients is so basic. That surprised me.
Hey Lily, I really love your favourites videos, they are always so well thought out and considered and you have something to say about each thing thats genuine. I get really dry cracked lips but I don't think its eczema, however I do really struggle with my eyelids. I understand you may be hesitant to suggest anything because obviously the eye area is incredibly delicate and easily irritable but I just wondered if you had discovered anything you can pick up in Boots/Superdrug/online that I could try until I can see my GP properly (avoiding the surgery at the minute). Lots of love to you and the fam xx
Phoebe Tee I used to have the same problem with my eyelids! I tried a bunch of things (lanolin, bio oil, etc), but the thing that ended up clearing it up was Vitamin E oil (easy to get at the drug store or online). I’d put it on at night and by the morning they would be much better and it would hold off the flakiness and itchiness for most of the day. Of course a doctor will know best, but that worked well for me until I could check with a doctor about it so may be something to try in the meantime :)
In regards to Gray’s body wash, I disagree. I think that sometimes when a product has less ingredients in it, it tends to be extremely drying. I remember using One of the first sulfate free shampoos I could get my hands on years ago and it dry the living crap out of my hair.
I love how you mentioned the ugly toy. 😂 I have a 6 month old baby who loves toys that are so tacky. I stopped buying her expensive wooden toys because she couldn't care less. Maybe later!
And it's funny how before you have kids you think you'll care so much about "pretty" toys vs "ugly" toys, but then actually you just enjoy them enjoying a toy and don't care! lol x
I've been looking for a bib like apron for ages as traditional ones are uncomofy around my neck and have never worked. Thank you! Halfway through Normal People just now and really feeling the emotions too.
Love this video Lily and your live insta with Anna on a Saturday. You can get those hair clips really cheaply from Primark. You can also give Grey an old TV remote with the batteries taken out if you don’t like the ugly toy. It’s my grandsons 1sr birthday to on the 15th, so I can wait to see what you got for Grey. Love to Rich x
Love this Lily! I have just started my UA-cam channel and you have been a huge inspiration for me in doing this! I have followed you and watched you for years. Xx
I love the Avene Tolerance ( emulsion one) It's the only moisturiser that calms my dry/ irritable face. Really good for hydrating after a long haul flight. Sadly I can't buy it here in Australia and have to stock up when back in UK. Luckily I have 2 left 😃
I’m guessing Johnson’s, I was strongly advised against their products by my health visitor so didn’t use them on my daughter. She’s never suffered with dry skin, I use aveeno it’s great stuff!
A favourites video!! So nice to know what people have loved during this time - I've also made a quarantine's favourites video with lots of recommendations! Will have to try the moisturiser - it looks perfect x
Yeah, so funny as I hadn't even thought about the fact they're both Irish. I guess the lead female in Normal People isn't actually Irish, so her accent isn't real, but I guess the accents much be softer overall? Not sure.
@@lilypebbles yeah the accents in Blood are definitely more of an Irish countryside accent as opposed to more urban Irish accents in Normal People. The main actress in Blood is English too. Her accent and the main actress in Normal People are amazing given that they are not Irish....Irish people normally cringe when people attempt our accent.
As someone from Ireland I totally get how hard our accent is to understand. When I worked in England I had to put on an American accent at times for people to understand me 🤣🤣🤣🤣.
I think it depends what part of Ireland you are from. Some Irish accents can be quite neutral. I lived in London for a few years and for the most part I had no issue. But I wouldn't feel the need to put on an American accent no matter how I spoke!
Does anyone remember Lily saying recently there was a new way she was washing make up brushes and it was really life changing?! Maybe I dreamed it? But I can't find it on any of the videos anymore and I meant to come back to it and make a note. Any pointers very much welcomed :-)
Have you watched both seasons of Blood - had no trouble at all with the accents! I enjoyed both, and loved Normal People. I've been watching too much TV. I live in the US, but normally watch only British or Australian shows (biased - yes!). I made the mistake of watching the Netflix series Hooray for Hollywood. Absolutely horrendous - dreadful acting, ridiculous premise - probably the worst show I've watched in years.

Thank you so much, this is such a lovely comment! x
I realize Im quite off topic but do anyone know a good site to stream new tv shows online?

Loved this chilled out video Lily! 👸🏼
I've been using that lanolin cream as a lip balm for YEARS and I've never even had a child LOL. It's just the most incredible product!!
I think you are doing such a great job with your videos! Love the honesty of your instagram posts as well- keep up the good work!!

I do remember “I love a good pump in the shower”. Hilarious!

I would love some info about what creams worked for your lips. I've been struggling with this for the longest time and nothing works!
Yay, a favorites video! Love watching them! 😍✨ Have a wonderful sunday & Happy Mother’s Day! 🥰

This length of hair/ style suits you a lot.

Which product(s) have helped you improve your chapped lips?
Love That Avene Skin Recovery Cream! I use it for years and Will always buy it again. So good
Lily, I think I found the perfect creamy eyeshadow - Tom Ford Emotionproof eye color Abyssinian - take a look 👀
Have you watched Derry Girls on Netflix? So good!
In regards to Gray’s body wash, I disagree. I think that sometimes when a product has less ingredients in it, it tends to be extremely drying. I remember using One of the first sulfate free shampoos I could get my hands on years ago and it dry the living crap out of my hair.

Is it very gingery the smell of the shower gel?
Same Lily, love those Nars lip balms! I don't wear lipstick so its a nice alternative x

Hi Lily, loving your necklace, is it from Missoma? Thank you for another great video xx
Love this!! Your necklace is lovely, could you let me know which one it is? I am guessing Missoma x
Sara Michel same question here ☺️
Its the rounded flat curb necklace from Missoma
Love this Lily! I have just started my UA-cam channel and you have been a huge inspiration for me in doing this! I have followed you and watched you for years. Xx
My cousin got me to use nipple balm on my lips when I had eczema on them. I thought she was crazy. It actually worked. x
Happy Sunday everyone! Stay home, stay safe! x
Thanks Teresa! I hope you have a great Sunday too ☺
Hi Lily, I just love your videos. Just wondering what size you ordered in your & other stories top, it’s right up my street.
The Sachajuna shampoo+leave in conditioner also is very good!!
I love the Avene Tolerance ( emulsion one) It's the only moisturiser that calms my dry/ irritable face. Really good for hydrating after a long haul flight. Sadly I can't buy it here in Australia and have to stock up when back in UK. Luckily I have 2 left 😃
Yes I loved normal people!! ❤️ I've just ordered the book today as well, can't get enough! I agree, you totally feel everything they go through! X
I love aveeno so much! It helped me so much with my eczema xx
What is the name of the brand that dried up your child’s skin ?
I’m guessing Johnson’s, I was strongly advised against their products by my health visitor so didn’t use them on my daughter. She’s never suffered with dry skin, I use aveeno it’s great stuff!
& Other Stories is great for hair clips! X
Thank you so much for the "Normal People" recommandation!
Finished it in two days, loved it so much! It was brilliant 👌
A favourites video!! So nice to know what people have loved during this time - I've also made a quarantine's favourites video with lots of recommendations! Will have to try the moisturiser - it looks perfect x
I subbed to your channel, it looks great! I have a channel myself if you want to go and give it a watch :)
@@yaelacting will do!
I like how she explains "fairy liquid" as "washing up liquid" lol...washing what? We call it DISH SOAP in the US, FYI :)
Love the recommendations. Just as a matter of interest did you find the Irish accents in Normal People easier to understand than in Blood?
Yeah, so funny as I hadn't even thought about the fact they're both Irish. I guess the lead female in Normal People isn't actually Irish, so her accent isn't real, but I guess the accents much be softer overall? Not sure.

Loved the vibes in the video 😃 xx
Reading the video title, my mind jumped to „what I ❤️ today“ right away 😂
Aww loved that cute tee Lily, ordered one for my grandson 👍 xx
What's the difference between the Irish accents in Normal People and Blood? I've only watched Normal People so far!
Just starting Blood. You do know it has subtitles lol. I always switch them on anyway as I can’t understand American drama half the time.
I always have them on regardless, find it much easier to watch anything with subtitles. Even if I speak the language.
I'm terrible with subtitles, I get so distracted! I think it's my bad eyesight, lol
Lily Pebbles Ah fair enough. I honestly can’t watch anything without them now! I think it’s my hearing haha

Lily starting watching Normal People after your recommendation. Great show thank you!
Love your show Lilly ♥️
You look amazing, Lily
Fab vid as always!
Does anyone remember Lily saying recently there was a new way she was washing make up brushes and it was really life changing?! Maybe I dreamed it? But I can't find it on any of the videos anymore and I meant to come back to it and make a note. Any pointers very much welcomed :-)

Why did u mention blood is Irish but not normal people which is Irish too?
Missoma also have hair clips, but I bet you knew that ;)
Normal people also set in Ireland.
