This episode is just a party celebrating the ending of the first season and the success of Helluva Boss 🎉 This is a huge W for Vivziepop (the creator) because one of the things that made her work and her art style sort of famous inside the indie animation's world was an animated music video for Die Young by Kesha she uploaded in her channel in 2014. She is a big fan of the singer, and now being capable of bringing Kesha to her show and having this huge artist embodying one of her characters is so good ❤❤❤
The thing Blitz drinks in his drinking contest against Bee-lzebub is Beelzejuice, the same drink that was in the flask that Verosika threw into the sea and which transformed this innocent catfish into a terrifying monster.
@@SilverScribe85 we've never seen a non-demon drink it except this fish and seeing how it ended up... I'd say it's not really recommended for human consumption
10:52 Not that we know of - Satan and Lucifer are often associated together (either in a 'different names, same person' scenario or in a 'His name was Lucifer before he fell, he became satan after he fell'), but this universe is basing it on what's apparently an older understanding of Hell where Satan and Lucifer are two seperate entities (specifically, that Lucifer is the fallen angel and that Satan is the embodiment of evil without any backstory that I know of - either Lucifer now works with Satan or Lucifer's imprisoned by Satan). In any case, in this universe Lucifer is the Devil, the fallen Angel, the King of Hell/the big boss of hell/"hell's own head honcho", the Embodiment of the Sin of Pride (because he fell), the leader of the deadly sins (since Pride is sene by many to be the route of all the other deadly sins), the Ringmaster in the circus that is hell, the top of Hell's hierarchy and Charlie's dad. We meet him halfway through season 1 of 'Hazbin Hotel' but saw him in a family portrait in the pilot episode. In this universe, Satan is the embodiment of the Sin of Wrath. As of yet, we haven't met him, but we know he's going to be voiced by Patrick Page (baritone voice, has been Frollo in the stage musical of the Hunchback of Notre Dame, and was the original Hades in 'Hadestown' (both Off-Broadway and on Broadway recordings) was also in season 2 of 'Schmigadoon'). Fan theory (we know he has a fitness app) is that in the circus theme that's going on with hell, he's the strongman. We don't know what he looks like yet though we know that the Wrath Ring is mostly Orange (the pride ring where Hazbin Hotel is set is mostly red, the Gluttony ring is mostly yellow, the Lust ring is mostly blue, the Sloth ring is mostly pink, the Greed ring is mostly green, and I think the Envy ring is supposed to be mostly purple - rainbow flag). The circus acts theme that have been confirmed are: Lucifer - Reluctant Ringmaster Mammon - Psychotic Spider-Clown Beelzebub - Over-Indulgent Animal Tamer Satan - the Strongman - we're interested to see if as wrath he's good at controlling his temper or terrible at it Asmodeus - (jury's out on whether he's the magician or the acrobat/dancer, which do you think?) Belphegor (we're not sure yet) Leviathan (either passive-aggressive magician who makes those he/she envies disappear or the passive aggressive tightrope walker).
Re, the episode timing. Kesha was for a good while struggling with an abusive producer, who claimed control over everything she did, including her voice acting in this episode. They ended up having to delay the release while the lawyers hashed it out. I am reasonably certain episodes Seven and Eight were originally intended to be one shoot, with Loona's attempt to party being the b plot to offset the heavy night Blitz and Stolas had. But when the legal trouble hit they had to split it up
5:40 Her stomach is a lava-lamp to show how she burns through whatever it is she eats or drink water than anyone else. Her appetite is insatiable. That's why she's gluttony but is skinny instead of obese like most people associate gluttony with. She's gluttony in the sense of having as much as what you want rather than just what you need - but for the sake of having fun or because you want to, not as a means to avoid facing your problems or to self-destruct.
Fun Facts: After she surfaces from the honey, Beelzebub does the iconic hair shake of Ariel from the classic disney film The Little Mermaid 👑👑👑 The scene where Beelzebub materializes a mini rainbow when he says he could have had a rainbow in his vagina could be a reference to SpongeBob's "Imagination" scene where he makes a similar rainbow with his hands in the episode "Idiot Box" 👑👑👑 During the performance of "Cotton Candy", the scene where Bee dives and swims in her puddle of honey may be a reference to Bee Movie, in which Barry does something similar to avoid hearing his parents 👑👑👑
@@DynamicDan908 Also, the whole song dance sequence is based on Vivzies OC animation for Die Young, a song by Kesha (this is a full circle episode for Viv because that animation kinda brought her up in the world a bit) the video isn’t on her official channel anymore I don’t believe (copyright) but you can still find it on UA-cam by searching Vivziepop Die Young
I’m not seeing a comment about it: Belphagor is the head of the Sloth Ring, also the Medical ring (so the “party” drugs are probably prescription meds that Bee is “stealing” from her fellow Ring of Hell boss)
Damn that’s actually a cool fact! I like the idea of the Ring of Sloth being a medical ring. I hope that that ring actually has a bunch of sloths everywhere. I would die happy!
@DynamicDan908 there's a pilot for hazbin hotel that's on UA-cam you'll want to react to before watching the prime series. Actually prototype versions of Blitz and loona show up in it There is also a pilot for helluva boss you seem to have missed
9:29 Belphegor is the sin of Sloth, we haven’t met her yet though. 19:24 Unfortunately Kesha did not sing the songs, but she was involved in writing Cotton Candy
Sadly, unless amazon allows a crossover episode with "hazbin hotel" (pilot here on youtube, same channel, great to watch beforehand), we will never see the 7 sins together, as lucifer (hotel series) is the sin of pride. I.M.P. Headquarters is in the pride ring, and all of the sinner demons, blitz's clients, are all trapped in the pride ring, unable to leave. Lucifer and satan are two different entities in the hellaverse.

That's so cool to know! Secret Vivziepop lore!!!

What a call back, and Blitzo is chugging it?!?!? Damn
They looked completely different though? One was green, the other was yellow?
I take it the stuff isn't safe for mortal mouths?

I think Asmodeus is suppose to be like the fire-performer.

Interesting! Now it makes sense why it was released during season 2. Thanks for the info!

That's a different cool take on how to depict gluttony. I like it!
Loona has some issues, it's sad how she always puts an anger mask 😢
Yeah but that's to be expected with being in the hell pound for so long. She'll work through it. I hope.

If you don't know. There is a show on prime video that takes place in the exact same universe as helluva boss.
There is? What's it called?

Two reactions in the same week 👍👍👍
Get ready to Season 2 👑👑👑
I'm so excited 😉😉😉
Oh there's going to be more to come!
Oh!!! Double reaction! ❤❤❤
Fun fact: Tex & Ozzie (Asmodeus) share the same voice actor 🙌
You get two reaction in one weekend! It was a lot of work lol

Okay so we might see Belphegor later then. Also damn, they got a good singer to match Kesha's voice.
@@DynamicDan908 I think it was something to do with her court case with her abusive producer or manager
16:35 This is the first time we get to see a King or Queen of Sin in their powerful form and I cannot have enough. They're so cool
It was dope!
Did anyone notice the Hellhound that looked like Vaggie from the Hazbin Hotel pilot?
I didn't, what time??
2:35. The one with the long-eared Dalmation and Poodle. It's mainly just the hair and the bow that reminds me of Vaggie though.
I saw it and now I can’t unsee it!!! That’s neat.
9:26 belphegor would be the sin of sloth, just as beelzebub/queen bee is the sin of gluttony.
