Lots of medals. Was special jagers forces. I cant see his photo without tears where he have uniform.😢. Special jäger I am too. But after all this is Ukraine who is fighting back from Russia while honestly started to redevelop it's army only like 8 years ago. This is what is talked that smart Chinese guy - you need strong army not to win the war but to make sure that no one will start a war with you.

I forgot the actual reason she gave, but we snaked Finland in the past. I googled it too, and it's a known thing. I know this is anecdotal, but every time I've met fins online, they tell me the same thing as well.

And one thing that we associate with swedish is the compulsory swedish lessons, most of us are really rubbish in speaking swedish even after years studying it in school. Well, finnish army...I Led ambush as a military cook with my fellow cooks and truck driver and command post secretary after when I noticed enemy team guerillas closing to our positions when i was taking a leak near our positions. It was happy coincidence for me to spot them before they could spot me. But nevertheless, even cooks and military officepeople learns how to make an ambush. I quietly organized my fellows to form a half ring to geographical sweetspot and waited. And acted with my often neglected fellows. Thats important, to have every branch of military to have ways of self organizing and skills to endure In battlefield. When you have these special contractors working for you, it just isnt the same.

The Finnish National symbol is a lion. Finns would fight to keep their home like one. If not to keep their country, to atleast not to shame their grandfathers’ or great grandfathers’ memories before them when they were faced by the Soviet attack of 1939. The Finnish grit of the winter war especially has been been a point of pride for Finns. The Finnish military has been preparing for repeats of such an event for the better part of the last century. Attacking Finland would come at great cost to the Finns but would be of greater cost to the Russians that I know. With all due respect, the ukraine military is like Finland lite. The Russians know this too and that is why they will remain on their side of the border, if sane decisions are able to be made there.

Ambushes and chokepoints everywhere. Endless forests and lakes and swamps. Very few major roads on the eastern border and every bridge designed to be demolished in case of an invasion. Many command bunkers and army depots built into the bedrock. The Russians would have no hope of victory. It would be yet another huge meatgrinder for them.

The Finnish National symbol is a lion. Finns would fight to keep their home like one. If not to keep their country, to atleast not to shame their grandfathers’ or great grandfathers’ memories before them when they were faced by the Soviet attack of 1939. The Finnish grit of the winter war especially has been been a point of pride for Finns. The Finnish military has been preparing for repeats of such an event for the better part of the last century. Attacking Finland would come at great cost to the Finns but would be of greater cost to the Russians that I know. With all due respect, the ukraine military is like Finland lite. The Russians know this too and that is why they will remain on their side of the border, if sane decisions are able to be made there.

@@iantubby3825 Ukraine has a capable military and a lot of western weapons and good tactics. So does Finland, but it also has the advantage of absolutely nightmarish terrain for Russia to attack. Ambushes and chokepoints everywhere. Endless forests and lakes and swamps. Very few major roads on the eastern border and every bridge designed to be demolished in case of an invasion. Many command bunkers and army depots built into the bedrock. The Russians would have no hope of victory. It would be yet another huge meatgrinder for them.
