Fun Facts for this song: This one is called 'Nikolyn stars commute rush' and was released on their 7 year anniversary album Kakuhen as hidden track 77 (track 13 to 76 were empty, so you had to skip a lot, depending on your device) LOL Nikolyn is the name of the planet where the ancient alien space princess Tomo-Zo is from (her stage persona) - Thus also her pinkish everything. Oreo had the cheeseburger-costume on for over half a year (on stage and travelling). She's just nuts ROFL Tomo-Zo is my favorite guitarist, cause she always plays what the song needs and pretty much never shows off. And her creativity in coming up with unique guitar parts for a song is just astonishing. And I agree with Doc Loco, check out their current single MindSet. It's a modern funk-prog masterpiece. Cheers
I just can't understand why western people don't know and love Gacharic Spin as much as Band-Maid, Lovebites or Nemophila. I do for sure. They're amazing musicians but Tomo-zo don't usually show off, so it's great to see her fronting a whole song with amazing leads and rythm parts. I personaly love how original and often really crazy they are, but because of that many people don't take them seriously. Still I wouldn't want them to change. Btw there's a new album coming in september, the first produced but the band themselves, and the first single is MINDSET ua-cam.com/video/QmL0V667QzI/v-deo.html
I agree. What I believe happens is that they are a small band that cater more locally, who can fill up Tokyo Dome and don't care that much about overseas success. They should get it, though.
The keyboardist, Oreo, is a hamburger. 😂 They went through so many incarnations, they are one of those band where their story is just as fascinating as their music.
There is a lot and a gem of a full length feature film with them the main actors a Zombie film no subtitles but you dont need them to get it . ua-cam.com/video/GZa1dBW5s8k/v-deo.html Orio is superb at acting .
Hana is a musical prodigy. She’s plays everything. This is a musicians band for sure. I think it’s harder for people to get into them because they are progressive. Been in my favorites for years. .very innovative band. They reinvent themselves every album but also stay : themselves.
@@timgove5337 Very inventive. Another Japanese group CHAI did a similar humorous cover last spring of "Base 6" by the Chemical Brothers. It also used household objects as instruments.
When GS first started out they wore the most outrageous outfits possible then victor became their label and they were forced to wear matching uniforms that changed each year but weren’t very creative. This is obviously the year that Hana and company regained creative control. Everyone made up a look that represented their personalities. Oreo of course became a hamburger...
Discovered them through their video with Nemophila. Went back and checked out Doll$Box as well. Japan's music scene is o fire 🔥. All of these bands so such much talent. And not being negative but we get maroon 5 and stuff in the USA? Nice reaction to great music.
Hana is an amazing percussionist as well as a multi-instrumentalist. But here Tomo-Zo is being showcased! For my money, she is the most underrated guitarist in the rock genre today, and that really needs to change. And she has a very nice voice, unfortunately, we don't really hear her as much as we should. And if you didn't figure it out, I absolutely love them all, and especially the newest acquisition in Angie (Angelina 1/3), I call them "Energy Personified". Just one thing to note, the pronunciation of the bands' name, which is done in a few of their live performances at the outset, is: Gacha (gotcha) rik (reek) Spin (just like in English). Thanks for your reaction, you are spot on in your assessment.
Bro, you looked just like Don Johnson in that retro pic!! I bet you were making hella waves on that waterbed. Wolf was on the prowl baby!...ya know what I'm talkin aboot!
Gacharic Spin is a spin off from Doll$ Boxx That's where Hanna (the blue haired drummer) is from. And yes, I am a HUGE fan of Hanna, even at 64. No, I'm not a perv. But I appreciate her immense talent. And she has an excellent voice.
An unbelievable amount of talent hidden for years till victor records relaxed there blocking and The band started the YT channel and filming them selves they should be world stars .

finally, did a react to it, awesome...
Gacha's live performances reminds me of bands like Parliament/Funkadelic. Always wearing costumes, putting a great show and having fun on stage

I love that!
Gacharic Spin is so good, I find my self going down UA-cam wormholes of their songs.
I watched a couple more today too
@@deanwolfechannel They’re almost addicting, which I guess good music is.

@@timgove5337 that was great. She really does play everything! Haha gotta love that girl

My classmate sang in the video haha.
@@Aki-Ho that is awesome

The oldest singer, Keiko Terada(Show-Ya), was my classmate. She is a pioneer of Japanese girl bands.
show ya are pioneers. Thanks for sharing
@@Aki-Ho that is so cool. Starting watching Show Ya after hearing Nemophila's covers of their songs and watched the originals. Blew me away.
Really great band.❤💙❤

Great band - both as musicians and as entertainers. Their shows are pure fun. Their new track Mindset is a fast funky ride with jazzy stylings.
I plan to react to it!
just reacted to it...
