As soon as I saw the title, the first thing I thought of was Maya and Lucas at the campfire. That scene, just those few seconds where they stare silently at each other, has more passion and intensity than dozens of other full-fledged love scenes I can think of.

Maya's and Lucas's almost kiss was so iconic and showed their chemistry.
I think the writers keep holding on to Rucas because they were the main ship they designed but as the show went on Lucaya's chemistry it started to show and at the end they decided to stuck to their plans.
Even Riarkle worked better.
And something I'll always resent to GMW is how the main lesson was *"people change people"* but when Maya changed for good, the lesson was forgotten.

Damn, never thought somebody would name the exact same couples I wanted to name here. Those two are definitely my favorite couples that got screwed out of their moment by Disney's incredibly stupid one season one kiss rule.
And rumor is it both lucaya and nacy were cut because the filmed kisses were too steamy.

as a little 10 year old girl, I remember being SO mad at some of these because I wanted most of these ships to kiss, but of course I got triggered once some of these kisses got interrupted. I remember yelling at the tv "WHAT THE HECK! YOU COULDN'T WAIT 2 SECONDS TO LET THEM KISS?!"
omg from the second maya noticed lucas "for riley" in the first episode i wanted them to be together and then that fire scene happened? omg i was so upset they didn't end up together (also OMG JONAS LA? macey and nick were the og ship)
I like all the almost kisses from Hannah Montana that Robby Ray interrupted 😂 But my favorite is definitely Maya and Lucas I absolutely love them and I'm really sad too that we didn't get to see them as endgame 😔

My favorite almost kiss scene is this from Austin and ally At first because i love them so much and second because we can see how much chemistry they have(and in real life they do)and it is such an important moment for their whole story

I'm fangirling so hard! when I saw that you included Soy Luna, I was surprised since it's a Latin American show, it's currently one of my favorite series, Lutteo always wins. the 2nd part of the 3rd season is about to start in Latin America if I can find a place where you can watch the episodes with subtitles I'll let you know, I know they're airing the first season in Unimas, but I don't know if they have subtitles 😊

I can't actually believe you started watching Soy Luna!! I've loved that show ever since I saw the first episode and it's one of my absolutely favorite series! I you do continue it, I can tell you it's worth it. Definitely.

I don't know if you watch the show Backstage, but Vanessa and Beckett are sooo cute. I love them so much and they have had a few almost kisses. I absolutely love them but I know there are mixed feelings about the show. Otherwise, I like the list and this channel a lot.
