St. Philomena is my favorite saint! I have never asked her for anything that she has never helped me with! She is also my confirmation saint. If you make a promise to her... she will answer your request if it may be the will of God. I have gone to her multiple times and not once have I been denied by the grace of God. It is through her intercession that I was clearly shown that my calling is to the religious life. St. Philomena, powerful with God, pray for us!

Lots of Filomena's in my family. My maternal grandmothers patron saint, I visited Corfu, last summer, and visited the relic of St Spyridon and now, on good Friday, was led during prayer to St Filomena. Thank Alaha for both these two great Greek saints!!

I visited the tomb and body of Saint Philomela in Muganano, Italy. Very humbling. A vigil oil lamp burns before her.

Lots of Filomena's in my family. My maternal grandmothers patron saint, I visited Corfu, last summer, and visited the relic of St Spyridon and now, on good Friday, was led during prayer to St Filomena. Thank Alaha for both these two great Greek saints!!

Recently I just noticed a stained glass painting of her on one of my churches windows,,she looks beautiful in it and is holding an anchor in her left hand and an arrow in her right hand with roses on her head,,,,i will ask for her prayers in future trips to my church
