I have an Audi 2023, it’s missing the online connectivity unit (OCU). I bought a secondhand one; can this be coded by anyone other than Audi or does it have to be Audi ? Also can it be second hand from another car or brand new to be coded to the car ?

@huyug1 I see. Reason for asking is, I just recently had a 14 jetta that had locked up pcm (immo locked) due to a failed key programming event by a locksmith. The only way I was able to unlock it was with Odis..
Yes ecu connector with power connector comes with it I bought the diag with out the amperage screen wish i bought the one with amp screen one. cheeeeers

This did not work I did exact process and got exact results but when I went to install ecm I got code for engine start blocked be immobilizer in ecm p1570
Read IMMO data, then just go to Exit IMMO system...... Immo off the ecu, car will start To restore Read IMMO data then ENTER IMMO SYSTEM, IMMOBILISER back on

Is it possible to read, copy and write all data through OBD ? I see it as an option but do not see anyone doing so in any video

Mostly I have the ECUs with me only not the vehicle but I have done these many times they all work unless there are other issues rather than ECU.
