    What is the water depth up in those cypress trees

    • @FishYanker
      @FishYanker  Рік тому

      Depending on what part of the swamp you're at. 5 to 7 ft on some 2 to 3 ft on others.

    In what general area (state) are you fishing? It looks a lot like the Atchafalaya basin where I'm from.

    I live at the beach and wouldn’t give you 2 cent for it. I’d do anything to live in the foothills surrounded by lakes. But, I’m very blessed to have what I got. Another great video.

      Yeah, I was thinking about what it would be like to live on the beach 🏖️. Its nice to visit but not too sure I would enjoy living there full time. Thank you Cleckler

      @@FishYanker I live about 2 miles from it. I don’t salt water fish much at all. I will go a couple times a year. We have a few rivers not to far away and that’s where I fish. It is hard fishing though. It’s the same clear water that you have with cypress trees and the water looks black, but the fishing is tough on acct. of it being tidal. I’m gonna try that beetle spin and a minnow like you do. I bet that is what these crappie will like too.

    • @FishYanker
      @FishYanker  Рік тому +1

      Sounds like a good plan. I'm not sure how that tide affects the fish but I hope you catch some good ones.

    YANK!!! I told you the man was good! He’s got a lure that if the crappie don’t bite it, it will reach out and grab the crappie itself. 😂😂 Just kidding. Great video. Thanks for sharing Fish YANKER.

      @FishYanker  Рік тому +1

    Once again a work day those crappie mad you think to catch them great job match knowledge with those slow biting crappie. Fishermen a lot of us know it's all in fishing that smell of skunk in the boat or bucket on land it's just part of fishing. I found that it's still better than our best day at work. Peace and quietness and stress free. I hope you had a good holiday 💯💯💯💯💯👍🏾

    • @FishYanker
      @FishYanker  Рік тому

      Yes indeed! had a great fourth, hope you did also. Thank you. That's right about the skunk, nobody wants it. But it's still better than the best day at work. LoL 😂
