I found these wonderful plaid shirting samples at my local thrift store. What a score! I incorporated some of them in this sweatshirt transformation. The finished sweatshirts are in my Etsy Shop here:

What a great find! I would never have thought about cutting the sweatshirt and putting a stripe in! I'm going to practice on one of mine!

i just bought a Comfort Colors sweatshirt off amazon but it’s 80/20. wish it was 100% cotton

The style 1566 are 80/20. The sweatshirt used in this video is a new style and not available yet on Amazon. It is also lighter weight. The style # is 1466.

It takes practice. Make sure you have the correct foot for your machine. A sewing machine dealer can help you with the proper foot.
