- I love capturing underwater fish footage! Pelican Lake was the perch place for that. Thanks for coming out to Pelican! It has been lights out there this year, which is so weird, until lately now it seems to have slowed down. Even the clarity of the water is weird, as last year you could barely see a foot in front of the underwater camera. Great video!

The non stop action on that lake is very impressive! Love seeing healthy and vibrant lakes like that which produce big fish and lots of them as well! Always enjoy watching your videos - especially when Keevin joins you - always a good time and laugh or two..

I'm so glad you made it down to Pelican Lake!! During my time in Wawanesa this and Oak Lake never failed to impress with decent quality fish, great friendly people and some lovely views ( I am a prairie boy). It was wonderful to see some new life in Ninette, that whole complex you were at is new to me, I might have to take a trip back "home" to wet a line and have some wings!!

Awesome vid mate. I actually stayed in the suite you showed on the top floor there back in September. Unfortunately the lake was so warm and jam packed with algae, but like you said the fishing would have just been a bonus along with the amazing food and accommodations. 🔥🔥🐊🎣
This was great to see. I grew up fishing these lakes in the 90s and 00s and it’s good to see the fishery getting stronger. Maybe you can try Lake Minnewasta when the lake level gets higher and catch some big boy crappie, if they’re still there.

Great video as always.I had a great time fishing there in open water season. I was expecting bigger walleyes since in summer, average size was way bigger than this.
This is crazy. My dad has a cabin at that lake and I’ve only ever done summer fishing and had mediocre success at pike. Time to take a trip!

Man that Pike was healthy!! They obviously have food and oxygen. It's cool you talked about the bubblers. I think oxygen levels are overlooked bigtime and with townships doing weed kills the levels get effected massively.

Back in the 90’s we used to slam the jumbos walleye and giant pike there. Then it winter killed and we just never went back

That's a pretty cool place. I like the underwater footage. Why can't they make a decent underwater camera with built in recording at a reasonable price? That camera, battery, and recorder setup seems like a heavy pain in the butt.
